Contract Marriage with my Guardian

Contract Marriage with my Guardian

A network that exists in the shadows, under their feet, unseen and unbroken. I looked up from the page. Theron sat across from me, reading a report on old communication protocols. He noticed me stop and looked over. “What did you find?” he asked softly. I turned the journal around so he could see. “Read this.” He leaned forward, his eyes scanning the lines. As he read, his expression shifted. He sat back slowly, tapping the page with his finger. “He wrote this here. Right in this room. This was the beginning. This is where the Covenant was truly born. Not as a military force, but as an information network.”

Vows written in blood

“How can I work with someone whom I still believe killed my mom.” “And I believe your family has done plenty of killing too,” he replied evenly. “But tonight isn’t about old blood. It’s about staying alive.” My hands were still shaking from the fight. I set the gun down. “On one condition. We share everything we find. No secrets. The second we know who the Swan is, we go our separate ways.” Luciano nodded slowly. “Deal. But you stay here until it’s safe. No running off to your father half-cocked.”

The opening chapters did a great job pulling me into the story. I like how Seraphina is driven by both revenge and the search for the truth, while Luciano remains such an intriguing character. The tension, mystery, and mafia atmosphere are already strong. Looking forward to reading more.

“You started this, seraphina. Now shut up and run, if you want to live” got me laughing hard Now of cos I’m rooting for seraphina but the bold girl who took the step to take the podium in order to critique Luciano is all of a sudden running for her life and guess who came to her rescue “Luciano”

Ashes of a Vow

Ashes of a Vow

"She's pregnant! How can you be so heartless?" He turned to check Seraphina’s injury, his gentle touch making me want to vomit. "You dare mention that child?" I sneered. "Kaelen, have you forgotten our vow?" I turned away, sick of the sight, and pulled a document from my desk drawer, throwing it at his feet. "These are rejection papers. You chose her. Sign them." The color drained from Kaelen's face. He stood up, the papers trembling in his hand. "Our bond was blessed by the Goddess herself!" he roared. "I will never reject you! Not until the day I die!"

The Water Girl

The Water Girl

Just as she's about to get up, I grab her arm and whisper in her ear, "You can't have my family and friends, water girl. So enjoy today because this is all you get." She jerks her arm out of my hold and looks me straight in the eye, telling me to go to hell. She's starting to really anger me. When did she develop such a backbone? She's always been so scared her whole life. "Bro, are you going to let the water girl talk to you like that?" Damion asks. "Nope. I have some plans for her," I responds. 🏈🏈🏈

BETRAYED BY HER BLOOD, CLAIMED BY THE NIGHT

BETRAYED BY HER BLOOD, CLAIMED BY THE NIGHT

Sofia asked, her sapphire light stabilizing into a steady, authoritative glow. One by one, the leaders of the Low-Levels stepped forward. Jax placed his jagged rebar on the floor. Valerius placed his tattered signet ring. The girl with the soot-stained cheeks placed a small, polished stone. The Covenant of Ashes was forged in the damp dark of the slums, a desperate union of the broken against the divine. "We march at first light," Sofia commanded. "The Vanguard is ready, Sofia. But are you?" Somito asked, stepping out from the shadows as the council began to disperse. He looked at her with the eyes of a man who knew he was looking at a tragedy.

His Luna Returned—So I Left With His Baby”

Calista’s lips curved in a sad smile. “I came,” she said, “to make this easier on everyone.” A Tribunal tech behind the camera lifted a hand. “We’re live in three,” he said softly. “Two. One.” The rune blinked steady. Every screen tuned to High Howl feeds lit up. Calista’s face filled them—composed, open, framed by Tribunal crest and Covenant sigil. “Covenant,” she said, voice smooth as honey. “I speak today not as a politician. Not as a businesswoman. As a wolf who has loved Nightmoor and this Covenant for many years.”

The pack is in chaos and I miss my children (everyone outside get up high) let’s just get this over with and done so I could go back to my pups { agreed } I called forth the power of nature, called it to me the waters from everywhere, there was a sound of rumbling that grew louder and closer then water burst through the trees, Kavi and Kai are hauling ass to get to me, I control the water I see it’s movement, I feel it, we become one mind. They both take hold of my hands as I step off of the dry and into the water forming a bubble around us for breathing, I disperse the water all around the pack, roaming over buildings, searching the forest, ally and everywhere in-between for these trespasse

One of my favourite stories Ive found. the storyline amazing, the characters especially having a strong female lead amazing and the humour made me laugh laugh out loud at times like a crazy person. Kudos to the author and her brilliant imagination. it does however need to be edited/proof read though
Angela Newkirk
this is a really good book! I wish the author would learn how to use punctuation correctly! and " marks make a big difference! she uses some weird brackets between their talking. That's one big long run-on sentence between everybody talking. sometimes it's hard to figure out who is actually talkin

Vows Written in Blood

After she finished, Livia stepped out again. “It’s ready, Mr. Adrian.” She gave a slight bow, gesturing politely. “Please, go ahead.” Adrian let out a breath. “Add lavender liquid.” “Oh.” Livia nodded and went back in. She looked at the row of bottles and picked the purple one. Reading it slowly, “Lavender…” She dropped a little. “One… two… three…” Then stopped. “Is that enough?” Adrian looked at her flatly. “Where is your logic? That much water and only three drops?”

The Alpha's Cursed Bride

The Alpha's Cursed Bride

"A wolf alliance choosing distributed intelligence governance over central authority. It has not happened before." He said: "In the Covenant's records." She said: "In anyone's records." She looked at him. "They spent thirty years on an operation trying to end what we have built in two. And we built it by trusting each other." He said: "And by you." She said: "And by both of us." He said: "Yes." He sent the invitation to the Covenant's senior committee that afternoon. The response came in a week. The senior scholar who had visited after Caela's birth — the one who had said I have never written a document that will still be read in three hundred years — accepted for herself and two colleagues.
