I immediately perked up at this news. Casper was the editor-in-chief of Bus Daily, a magazine that was like our bible in the business world. It shared everything a business person needed. From share values to stock market predictions, they wrote it all. If I was being honest with myself, that was partly the reason I became friends with Casper and I suspected he knew. "Which competitor?" I asked, trying to keep the excitement out of my voice. "Uh-huh." He shook his head. "I'm not telling you until you have that drink with me."

I went to the front and with my eyes glued to the floor, I cleared my throat. "My partner's name is Leonardo and I learned that people aren't really what they seem. They might appear sweet from the outside but in reality, they be the most despicable people ever. Thank you." I bowed before walking to my seat. Usually people would clap but they didn't clap for my review probably because people hate hearing the truth. "Um," Mr Joe cleared his throat but the bell went off. "I guess that's it for today, Riona can you stay back for a little while?" He announced.

I blinked twice because it was too sudden. When I looked at the person who took it I didn't saw his face because he was wearing a black hoodie jacket. My brows furrowed because the man was really tall. I can't help but to admire his height.

On the front was a picture of two naked guys standing facing out to sea, one with his hand on the other’s arse. ‘They’re not conventional blockbusters,’ he said. ‘More of a speciality, you know, collectors’ editions.’ I frowned and pulled out the next one. He leaned forward on the counter, placed his elbows at points and rested his chin on his clasped hands. ‘I understand if they’re not your thing,’ he said then bit down on his bottom lip, flattening out that delectable dink.

I pick up my book and look at the cover, holding it open so I don’t lose my page. The man on the cover is wearing a long blue military jacket with red trim and yellow trousers. The woman has on an elaborate gown and is leaning her head against his bare chest, her own gown falling down around her lower arms, her breasts spilling out the top like a melon cart that’s been tipped on its side.

I placed my hand lightly over the back of his and said gently, "Alright." "Really?!" Simon clearly hadn't expected me to agree so easily. He chatted with me excitedly for a few moments, then we headed downstairs together. On the first floor, everyone was gathered around having a barbecue. My gaze swept across the crowd before landing on a greasy-haired, pot-bellied man standing in the corner. Jay Heston was a colleague from my department. Not only was he older, unhygienic, and sloppy, but his character was just as bad—he often harassed people in our department in private. To us, he had never been a decent person.

Instead, she gives a casual shrug, deepening her voice an octive or two. “Eh. I could use the extra money.”

The cover featured me on the hunt in the French territories. George, the editor, hadn't expected my presence to shift the tides significantly, but as he looked at the final print, he allowed himself a sliver of hope. At first, the reaction was a low hum. Many traders didn't stock TQ, preferring the established fashion scrolls. But wherever it appeared, people stopped. My eyes on that cover didn't just look at the camera; they hunted.
