"He was still serious. He was always serious. But there was something underneath it that had not yet been buried." Jem stayed very still. "What changed?" he asked quietly. Madam Frost was silent for a moment. "He stopped believing he had time," she said simply. "And when a person stops believing they have time, they stop allowing themselves to want things." The room was very quiet after that. Jem thought about it. About all the ways Dante moved through the world like someone finishing tasks before a deadline no one else could see. The controlled efficiency. The walls. The way he gave instructions instead of wishes.

GINA I sat at what seemed to be the living room of the vs vsvmansion where the boss of the Bloody Fangs mafia group, Devon Fenrir lived. It also seems to be the group's headquarters. I thought we lived in affluence but this mansion dwarfed ours in more ways than one. A large and expansive living room with a high ceiling, golden chandeliers, large paintings with inscriptions of a language I don't understand on them, golden furnitures that glittered under the rays of sunlight coming through the windows.

She shook her head and held his neck tightly. “I brought you chocolates and cookies.” He drawled. Chantelle laughed. “Did you bring for my friends too?” “Yes, of course.” “Yaaayyyy!” UNKNOWN POV Time seemed to be slow as the day dragged on without him doing anything. He was used to the same routine, to doing the same thing over again. It drove him insane but he’s been cursed to be insane. He sat on the bed and hugged his knees to his chest. The camera situated at the four corner of the room indicated that he has been really trapped in here. No one knew his whereabouts because the last time he checked, the case was closed five years ago.

That’s ironic. "Luigi, you just have to get the devil's book, and there you'll know everything you need to know," Satan said as we talked. "How? Where can I get the Devil's book?" I asked him. "Don't worry," he said, smiling. "It will come to you on its own." Tss. Satan is amazing, isn't he? I wondered if the book was flying because it would come to me on purpose. Well, even though it’s hard to believe, I have to trust Satan. After all, he did not ask for anything in return. How ironic!

In a few seconds, he was towering over me, pressing a finger on my lips to threaten me, " Sshh! Watch before you speak, Princepessa. I am not your prince charming anymore. I am the devil who is here to suck your soul. If I made you just my fuck body, what will the world call my child? An illegitimate one? In no way, I was going to allow it. Get on the bed and wait for me. I want your back to remember because I really don't wish to kiss your poisonous lips ever which fed me lies for years."

He ferociously glared at her, shooting daggers out of his eyes in hopes of killing Veronica in one strike. Before she could comprehend what was happening, she was now on the bed with Sebastian atop her, propping his hand on the bed as he glared at her beneath him. "Oh really? Do you want to try and see if it's pleasing to the body?" He asked sinisterly, an evil grin threatening to be released from his face. For once, Veronica stiffened as her back drenched in sweat. It was then she realized she had sucessfully angered the great devil. Not wanting to lose the battle, she pretended to be unaffected as she twirled the corner of his sleeves pyjamas seductively while batting her lashes.

“I don’t blame you. It’s only natural for kids of our age to believe that only heroes can fight against evil. But I’m done with believing those bluffs. I’ve moved on. Up until now we’ve been living in a mirage created by mom where we could see that the world is a peaceful and beautiful place. But the reality speaks differently. You know what I believe.......? At that time I couldn’t recognize my little brother. He used to be a noble, simple minded and an angel but this was the time when he turned into a complex, twisted minded devil. He said, “ To annihilate the evils, you have to be…..THE DEVIL…..”

“ You're my soul.” “ Are you sure you mean that Cara Mia?” He reached for my cheek, wiping my tears with his fingers, his touch cold against my skin. “ I'm dangerous, I'm cruel, I'm evil, I'm not the man who'll buy you flowers and lie to you with my words. I'm not the type of man who'll be gentle and pretend to love you. I'm the type who'll ground your enemies to dust and burn everyone who tries to harm you. I'm the type of man who wouldn't care about hurting others if it means protecting you. I'm dark, I'm twisted, I'm insane and yet you call me your soul?” The words slipped out of his mouth heavy with emotion. My heart rate tripled in my chest.

We will send the demons back to where they belong, but first we will make them live in the torture we create for them. *** This is the end 😭 but there is more in Book 2, My Devil's side, which is seven years in the future and is the last and final book to this story.
