The Divorce: Happy Birthday to Me

The Divorce: Happy Birthday to Me

Knowledge was mine to wield, and with it, I could always create more. Keira stared at the signature on the last page. It was her handwriting, yet she couldn't recall ever signing such a document. Fury and shame washed over her. She tore the divorce papers into shreds. "Divorce?" she murmured bitterly. "Absolutely not." She collapsed beside the couch, burying her face in her hands. … When the plane touched down, Elias was waiting to pick me up, with Beatrice Snow tagging along. Elias, all smiles and cheer, stepped forward to check on me. "Did the long flight wear you out?"

Marked by Fate

Marked by Fate

I didn’t know whether I should be angry, scared, or confused. Diva tilted her head slightly, licking her lips before placing her hands on her hips in that dramatic, witch-like way she always did. “Oh, Rose, always full of questions,” she said teasingly. “No need for all that. Just follow me.” My fists tightened instantly. “You must be out of your mind if you think I’ll follow you anywhere. After everything you did to me? You betrayed me, Diva!” I snapped.

 Bound To The Fearful Alpha

Bound To The Fearful Alpha

The council chamber trembled with the weight of silence. Weapons were drawn, and the flickering truth-flame cast eerie shadows across the faces of the gathered leaders. In the doorway stood the woman who wore Diva’s face like a mask—a reflection twisted by darkness, a mirror to her light. Liora. Diva stepped forward, her heart pounding against her ribs like a war drum. She searched the woman’s features for some sign of doubt, of remorse, of shared memory. But there was none.

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

After finishing the call, I looked at Ivanna and teased her, "You’re a soothsayer." Ivanna disdainfully replied, "I am not a soothsayer, it's my thorough understanding of these people. The grand opening ceremony of Arkadia signifies a certain level. It’s no brainer to know who will be attending this ceremony, "With her current popularity, having her to attend the opening ceremony is something other businesses would eagerly seek. You're saving a large appearance fee!" Ivanna added sarcastically, "Would she miss such a great opportunity?"

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

Sorry, We're Divorced

Sorry, We're Divorced

Danielle was at a loss for words. After leaving the doctor's office, Noelle spotted Ava wheeling Xyla down the corridor, and there were two well-dressed women standing across from them. Xyla was wearing a remarkably realistic wig and had her face made up; she looked much better than the last time Noelle had seen her.

The Extrovert Weds The Introvert

The Extrovert Weds The Introvert

Diva hollered, jumping on the cream-colored sofa as if it were a trampoline. Blaze scrunched up in his nose in disgust. He hated disorganized people and messy people. Unfortunately, Diva seemed like that type of person. Diva was wearing a pair of shorts and a tank top, clearly, her pajamas, and her hair was a mess, yet she was shamelessly jumping on the sofa with her slippers on. However, the thing that was annoying him the most was her blaring voice so early morning.

The Divorced Female Billionaire Heiress

When Rachel opens the door, I show off the certificate I'd been given. "Oh, fuck yes! You did it?" Rachel is ecstatic as she takes the divorce paper, looking over every inch thoroughly. "I did it." I give her a proud smile, hand on my hip. "You're looking at Ella Reina, single, powerful, and thriving." Rachel grabs me and brings me in for a hug, saying how proud of me she is over and over again. No one in this world is a better friend than Rachel. She invites me inside, and we sit together to discuss the next steps.

she pressed. "How much?" I asked calmly, keeping my eyes glued to the document. A heavy silence fell between us as she hesitated. "Half a billion." My brow lifted slightly. Half a billion for an online registration site? Did this woman think I grew money on trees? "If it wasn't for what happened eight years ago, I wouldn't have missed my exams back then," she sniffed, forcing her voice to tremble with fake tears. "I'm just trying to get my life back on track.”

Her Resistance

Her Resistance

Divya declared, her voice dropping into a deadly serious tone. Isha immediately gasped, dramatically slapping a hand over her heart. "Huh?! So you'd straight-up murder your future doctor husband? How on earth did you turn into such a heartless monster?" Divya flashed a delightfully wicked, devilish grin. "Listen to me closely—tea is my entire soul. If anyone tries to turn my tea into my ex, I will not hesitate to end him." Isha burst out laughing, the sound ringing softly against the bedroom walls. But as the chuckles faded, her eyes lingered fondly on her younger sister. Behind that playful bravado, she saw the vulnerability Divya worked so hard to hide...
