Divorced To Steal His Heart

Divorced To Steal His Heart

Staring at the cake in a daze, sadness crept into my heart as my thoughts wandered back to my birthday night, the night Theo asked for a divorce. Later that night, I took the cake out of the refrigerator but had no appetite. The next day, the butter melted and I threw it in the trash. I wonder if the maids threw away the A****n package containing the decorations in the corner. But it doesn't matter anymore. I'm about to start a new life.

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

Just after dropping Ava off at the kindergarten the following day, I received a call from my best friend, Irvanna, saying she wanted to meet at our usual spot. Of course, I immediately responded and took a cab to the location. Ivanna and I were close, just like sisters. We could talk about anything, but it was rare for her to call me. After all, she was a busy woman who worked as a talent manager in a media company. When I entered our favorite dessert shop, I saw her sitting in the corner, typing away on her laptop. The morning sun cast a peaceful glow on her, making her look even more beautiful.

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

Rejected By My Billionaire Husband,He Chased Me Back After D

"Then we'd better hurry." The dessert shop was a tiny hole-in-the-wall tucked between a bookstore and a vintage clothing store, the kind of place you would walk past a hundred times without noticing. Inside, it was all warm wood and string lights and the smell of fresh-baked cookies. A glass display case held an array of cakes and pastries that made Clara's mouth water. "The chocolate lava cake," Cassian said, pointing. "Trust me." "I trust you." They ordered two lava cakes and two cups of coffee and settled into a corner booth by the window. The shop was nearly empty at this hour just a young couple in the far corner and an elderly man reading a newspaper at the counter.

There was only one burden left, which was to ask Hannah for forgiveness, and I was still thinking about how to do that. We returned to the village with our divorce papers. After The Divorce, She Became The Nation’s Sweetheart

“Stop wasting time! Just do your job!” But the staff didn’t seem intimidated. He stamped the forms slowly, his expressions flat, yet in his hearts, he sneered. CEO of Torres Group or not, a man who cheats still stinks the same. When it was over, Isabelle stepped out first, the fresh divorce certificate clutched in her hand. Her gaze lingered on the paper, her name restored to its maiden form—Isabelle Monroe. Her chest tightened faintly, but the next breath came lighter than it had in years. At last, she was free.

Divorced before Marriage: The Forbidden Affair

Divorced before Marriage: The Forbidden Affair

“I told you not to take that job, babe. If you were tired of running the coffee shop you had, you would have told me and I’d get you a spot in my company.” “Sweetheart, not again...” She tried calming him down but he wasn’t having it. “Don’t tell me that, Tiff... I hate it that you have to work with someone else when your man has a company of his own where you can function properly.” “But, your wife...” “She isn’t my wife! I told you I’m getting a divorce. My lawyers are already working on the divorce papers.” Zane desperately explained. “Until then, she is still your wife and I need to be careful. I have to stay away, babe. I don’t want any trouble.” Tiffany argued. “For now, I am doing jus

After Divorce, I Married The CEO

Chapter 46 Jane's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, and she tried to move away, but Caleb’s grip on her waist tightened. “I’m not done yet,” he said, his voice low and serious. “I still want more.” Jane turned her face away, her heart pounding. “I’m done, Caleb. Let go.” He chuckled softly, but his eyes were intense. “You didn’t lie when you said you were only using me.” She shrugged, feeling a mix of frustration and confusion. Almost immediately Caleb’s playful demeanor shifted to something more serious. “Do you really want a divorce?”

She playfully poked his rock-hard abs as they walked toward the door. “Don’t be a hater, Dani.” He rubbed his stomach where she poked him and grinned rakishly. “I’m blessed with a good metabolism and a workplace with an onsite gym!” The bell tinkled over the door as they entered the café. A waitress, who introduced herself as Sofia, showed them to a table next to the big picture windows and gave them brown, kraft paper menus. “The quiche lorraine is on special today and it’s to die for,” Sofia gushed. “The chocolate croissants are also amazing. They are made in-house by our chef!”

Celie frowned at me when I put the cake in front of her. "What's this?" she said. "I name it 'Azra's Secret'," I said. "It's a special dessert recipe from home." "Fatness might not be an imminent danger for you, but not for me," she said. "Oh come on, Celie," I said. "You always complain about how customers keep turning away to Monica's but have you ever noticed how boring your menu is? There are no cool desserts whatsoever!" She glared at me. "What are you, a dessert police?"

Falling From Your Sky

Falling From Your Sky

Both Cerise and Sal move to a booth by the wall covered in paintings of castles, a childish tint to the retro-styled cafe. Cerise asks her best friend for her drink as she finishes skimming through the menu under the glass of the table, chanting her orders in her mind as to not forget it. The cashier only made the place even better, her gummy smile bouncing off the sharp eyes yet calm features as she took Cerise’s order. ‘Jenny’ her nameplate read, a name Cerise would surely remember as she includes a nectar dessert to which she gives her a questioning look. “It’s for the firefly,” Jenny whispered.
