Everything back then had been a misunderstanding, but I had wasted so many years in between. In the end, we relocated overseas and had our wedding there. After going through so much, the right person eventually found his way back to me. Happiness may always begin again, but it never truly ended.

I had spent years chasing after her, begging for even the smallest piece of her affection. I had cherished her above everything else. A single smile from her had once been enough to make my heart race. But now, all of those beautiful memories seemed to have faded away. What remained was only the bitterness of summer's end. Firmly, I shook my head. "No, thanks." It was all in the past now, and I should let go. The distant voice let out a soft sigh and opened the gate of reincarnation for me. Beyond the radiant doorway stood a little girl holding a teddy bear.

Her cheeks were flushed with satisfaction, and dark red marks covered the soft skin above her chest. Even the black lace dress I had bought for our anniversary had been stained with a few suggestive spots of blood. The room was filled with loud, crude men. Whistles and teasing laughter echoed through the air. “Ms. Jones finally ended her single life tonight.” “So? Was Eric good enough to make your legs give out?” Their eyes shifted toward me, followed by another round of whispers. “Shane is pathetic. He spent years acting like a loyal dog around her, and he still did not get her first time.”

The thread had been removed from the community, but many had sent me private messages. Some offered words of comfort, some scolded Luke, and the other asked me how I was doing. I replied to none of them. I only left my comment on a certain post that brought everything out in the open. 'The person I failed most was myself. My love for my husband blinded me, and I lost who I was. But now, I've brought her back.' I eventually put my phone away and brought my luggage to the airport security checkpoint. Ahead of me, freedom was waiting.

But do they have a choice to stop now? As the beep filled with terror and red, the crumbled world broke into pieces as the system notified: “An Alliance with the ruin dungeon is terminated! The former boss, Allan, defeated!” “B...boss!” The long silence replace with grief of Ania's voice, tears rolled out even more. She keep wagging her head, refusing to believe. “That can't be... By noon, the porcelain cracked with a sharp snap when she moved it. Aria muttered, "What the hell…" She cleaned it up slowly, deliberately. Anything to keep her hands moving. To keep her from thinking about how it felt like the whole bookstore was… holding its breath. She wandered into the back aisles. The mythology section was a mess — again. Probably some college kid hunting for ancient conspiracies to turn into a thesis. Her fingers skimmed the titles. Worn, faded, some crumbling at the spine. One caught her eye.
