The Ever King Epub Novels & Stories

Something opened its eyes. Two enormous golden eyes filled the entire sky. The First King smiled. “My father.” Lucian’s blood turned cold. Elyra screamed: “No!” The First King laughed. “He has been sleeping since before creation.” Amara stepped backward. “What is he?” The First King whispered: “The first thing that ever existed.” Lucian’s golden flames flickered. “And what does he want?” The First King smiled. “He wants his throne.” The enormous eyes opened wider. A voice shook reality.

Comfortable chairs sat beside a roaring fireplace. The room felt untouched by time. I moved toward my favorite reading corner. Then stopped. A familiar figure sat beside the window. Silas. Of course. The future king was already awake. A stack of documents rested beside him. Several maps covered the table. Political reports. Military briefings. Kingdom business. Yet somehow he still looked calm. Like the weight of an entire nation wasn't sitting on his shoulders. His silver eyes lifted from the papers. The moment he saw me, his expression softened.

“I’m sorry, madam. I’m just a driver. But maybe you should visit and see some places that play huge significant value to the history of Capria.” “See? You’re not just a driver. Tell me about the King?” “Ahh. America has no monarch, yeah? The first king was King Kamrun—” “Who?” “King Kamrun of Braynburg?” “Oh, and the current King?” “He’s critically ill.” His people must love the King if he didn't rule like in that 15th-century monarchies. “I’m sorry to hear about that.” My chest felt hollow. “The Prince apparent is Prince Isodore, Duke of Burkhese. You should visit Burkhese. It’s a great place, surrounded by the ocean. If you want to visit a little bit colder than Winterbourn, try Guardion.

“Yes, he's been back since this morning. Your gift was the reason he left." "Is he okay?" The king looked her straight in the eyes. 'My son could not have made a better choice', he thought. “Yes, he is fine. And now, as we speak, he is in the library waiting for me to tell him what you thought of his gift." He replied and opened the box. Skye's eyes widened. He had never seen anything so beautiful. So special. "Oh my god, it's gorgeous!" It was a necklace made of gold. "Queen Aine, the king addressed her. "I think it's time for your input."

"End of the line, Old Man." The journey had reached its darkest depth. The First King was no longer a ghost; he was a god of the Void. And the fight for the North was no longer a war—it was an exorcism. "Emma," Félix whispered, his hand finding mine for one last squeeze. "I love you." "I love you too," I replied. "Let's kill a King."

He sipped a little before he continued. “Don’t worry” He assured in a much comfortable tone “Your Body is built stronger and more powerful than a mere human. Basically, you’re now an Immortal. You’re strength alone can take a battalion of monsters. Not even thousands of Giants and demons can graze you. That’s how powerful you are right now” He just stood there looking at the man. “Still won’t believe it, do you?” the old man suddenly asked. Navi, the innocent man quickly nodded in agreement.

“I will do it” I walked out of the door and all the witches gasped when they saw Finley in my arms. “I am Elias, the King of the werewolves. You probably know the Dark Queen, the granddaughter of Beatrix. She is my mate and if she’ll have me, we plan on making sure there will be no war between the witches and the wolves. Please, blood has been spilled on both sides. I don’t want to continue to fight you, I just want to take my Queen home and make sure she’ll heal.”

As a result, when we got back home, Reive settled himself on the sofa, near the fire, and I started to walk back and forth, biting my nails and blushing under his mocking look. “You are the Undead King, aren’t you?” I gasped, stopping and holding wide my arms. “You’re Reive Eridanus Castro-Firel! The ruler of Aldenor, overthrown seven hundred years ago!” The necromancer grimaced, but didn’t stop smiling, “Little one, let’s not speak about this: ‘overthrown ruler’ and all that blah-blah-blah. Yeah, I’m the Undead King. Yeah, the very one who lived seven hundred years ago”.
