Contract of Hearts

Contract of Hearts

Afterward, he laid his head on her stomach, his ear pressed to the place where their baby was growing. "Hello in there," he whispered. "I'm your father. I'm already terrified of you." Mira laughed—a surprised, watery sound. "You're ridiculous." "I'm honest." He pressed a kiss to her belly. "I'm going to spoil you rotten. I'm going to teach you to be stubborn and fierce and unafraid. I'm going to love you more than I've ever loved anyone." "More than me?" He looked up at her, his gray eyes soft. "Different than you. You're my partner. My equal. My heart. This baby is my hope. My chance to do something right."

THE MAFIA'S PRICE

THE MAFIA'S PRICE

I sipped my juice, watching him through the half-open partition. The way he moved, confident, commanding, yet never cruel. The way his men straightened when he spoke, listened without interrupting. The quiet respect they gave him. He was going to be a father. The ultrasound pictures were folded in my purse under the seat. I hadn’t told him yet. I wanted to, God, I wanted to.

MY FRIENDS FATHER

MY FRIENDS FATHER

On top of that, Sayidati had mentioned taking a sabbatical year to have a peaceful pregnancy, not to participate in endless parties. Bruno and I entered the main office of the house. My father approached a bookshelf, pulled out a large book, and walked toward us slowly. From the look in his eyes, it was clear he was worried about something. “When Ebrahim considered the idea of becoming the father of our children, I went through a period of deep concern,” he said, opening the book to a specific page and handing it to Bruno. I stepped closer, trying to see what was written on those pages I didn’t recognize. I had no idea what was in the book, but judging by the expression on the muscular man b

Rival Alphas: Dance of Desire

Rival Alphas: Dance of Desire

It was a life full of challenges and surprises, but more importantly, it was a life full of love. Luke sprawled out in front of me, his head resting comfortably in my lap, speaking softly to the new life growing inside me. His voice, muffled against my swollen belly, was a melody of excitement and tenderness. He spoke to our unborn daughter affectionately, telling her about the world awaiting her arrival, about the family eager to welcome her. Moments like these showcased the depth of Luke's transformation from a man haunted by fears of inadequacy to a father whose heart was boundless in its capacity to love and nurture.

PREGNANT FOR MY HUSBAND'S STEPFATHER

Some even argued about it before the baby was born. "No," he answered. Just one word. No hesitation, I lowered my head, Quinn wasn't like that, he cared so much about the baby's gender.Too much. My eyes drifted back to Zachary, a faint smile appeared on my lips. "You'll be a wonderful father, Zachary." I voiced out. "...And a wonderful husband too." For a second, something unreadable crossed his face, like surprise. Then he laughed a bit."Athena can't say the same."

Goodbye Jerk, Hello Mr. Perfect?

I pulled it out and lifted it in the air for Katherine to see. “What to Expect: A Book for Expectant Fathers.” Katherine read the title out loud, and a smile graced her beautiful face. “I wanted to be prepared. I did not get to experience this with Erin, but with our new baby, I was willing to ride the tide with you. You are not alone in this pregnancy, sweetie. You have me.”

The Billionaire’s Stolen Bride

The Billionaire’s Stolen Bride

POV: Lena Moretti I found the books on his nightstand on a Monday. I wasn't snooping. I was looking for a phone charger I'd left in the living room and wandered past his open door and there they were. Three of them. Stacked in order of thickness. "What to Expect When You're Expecting." "The Birth Partner." And a thinner one called "New Father's Survival Guide" with a sticky note marking a chapter about the first six weeks.

Suddenly I became a billionaire's wife

When I found out Laura was pregnant, I was really happy and excited. Our baby hadn't been born yet but I had been imagining how adorable he looked when he called me dad. I thought I would be the happiest man in the world. Being a good father was not an easy thing. I bought a lot of books and learned a lot of knowledge on caring for pregnant women and educating young children. I hoped I could give Laura and our baby the best of mine.

The Revenge Of The Billionaire's Ex Wife

he asked, his voice low and menacing. Jordan's grip on my hand tightened, as if he was bracing himself for impact. "We're having a baby, Dad," he repeated, his voice steady. "We're going to be parents." Mr. Williams' face turned red with anger, his eyes blazing with fury. "You're what?" he thundered, his voice echoing off the hospital walls. "You're going to be parents? Are you out of your mind, Jordan?" Jordan's eyes never left his father's face, his expression unwavering. "We're happy about this, Dad," he said, his voice calm. "We're excited to start a family."

Second Chance Alpha-The Bond (#2 book)

Second Chance Alpha-The Bond (#2 book)

The healer warns Emma, squeezing gel onto her stomach. I look over at the screen as the healer starts to move the device over Emma's stomach. Seconds later I start to hear the sound of the pup's heartbeat through the machine. I listen to the sound of my pup's heartbeat, taking in the fact that I'm going to be a father. I'm filled with mixed feelings as I listen to the pup's heartbeat. I'm happy about becoming a father, but it's hard to be completely happy about this when it's hurting the person I love the most.

I really liked both stories. But this second part is pretty disappointing. Was not happy with the turn of events. It would have been better where it left off with the first book. I think the whole second book is a big let down. And sad for Kimberly. She still doesn’t get a fully happy ending.
