Heat: Fifty Fictions For The Fevered Mind

Heat: Fifty Fictions For The Fevered Mind

he said softly, sliding the paperback across the desktop. Claire caught her breath. The cover was creased and soft-almost like it'd been held between someone's legs. She smoothed the edge. "This is overdue." He tilted his head. "I got... carried away." Her head snapped up. He reached into his pocket, pulling out a single bookmark-dog-eared like a secret. She glanced at the clock. "It's closing time." He leaned forward. "Can't blame me for wanting that last bit." Claire's heart hammered.

Great storyline! Love the characters... Laughed, cried, got angry... some parts were too drawn out others too short. A few grammatical errors, but overall a truly great read!!! Definitely would recommend it to others!

I really love this book. Huge character maturity over time. Unique story for this platform. You will fall in love with the characters and may even gain a new "book boyfriend" out of the read. The book is not short, but that makes it better to follow the roller-coaster love story. Great job, author!

My Fair Lady|FAIRVERSE BOOK ~ I|

I got out a dense packed book and quickly went back to Reuben in bed. He looked confused and disheveled; his inquisitive gaze fell on the book in my hand. He asked, "What is that?" I, in turn, proudly presented it to him, "Lo and behold Your Highness, this right here in my hand is the 5th popular limited edition of Busty Asian Babes. I heard it is so stimulating that you can release at any time." Reuben with book in hand, "..........."

Burned (New Adult Romance)

Burned (New Adult Romance)

I didn't care, I just knew that it was fantastic. With every lick, the ember of my desire burned brighter, threatening to catch into a full blown blaze at any moment. I felt my temperature rising, the heat consuming me from within. Tremors rocked my body as his tongue fanned the sparks that my body nursed. I felt the heat rising, felt the smoke, and where there's smoke, there's always fire. When the flame ignited, my eyes squeezed shut. Delicious licks of fire washed over my every nerve, intensifying every sensation that I felt. The red color of the flames was all I could see, and my ears roared with the intensity of the flame.

Military’s Girl

Military’s Girl

By Anita D. - Janus: Travel Pieces. BY Chester E. - Fever 1793. By Laurie A. - The Hotel New Hampshire. By John I. It was a list of book, I re-read over them and then started up and down the isles looking for them. I looked for the authors by last name, finding a couple of them. But then had trouble finding the rest. I looked all over the library until I finally found them all, which took about 30 minutes or more.

LADYS GUY PRINCE DOUGLAS

LADYS GUY PRINCE DOUGLAS

With a gentle hug, I put the book down and immediately left for work. At 5:30 I was behind the shop waiting for my employers. I began to think about what happened last night. I was contemplating how a small book could increase in size by itself. The book could talk and give instructions for humans to follow. What amazed me more was the fact that fire of blood could rest in a bowl and the book didn’t burn but when I put my hand I was burning that I could even felt the fire even in my intestines.

hold me close forever (book 2 of Keller series)

Seems like they want to make fun of me so I decided to finish my coffee faster and ask them to our first destination. The Family History Library. You see why I am in this place called Las Vegas? Because once upon a time, when I am so desperate to see Arianne and was in a very broken state because of her betrayal, I acted impulsive and reckless. I get to be with a girl I never know that much, fucked her all day and marry her at nightime.

MEND ME IF YOU CAN.

MEND ME IF YOU CAN.

But he heard me. His entire expression shifted. Concern etched itself deeper into his face. He reached for the bowl of popcorn and placed it aside, clearing all distractions. Then, with full focus on me, he pulled me deeper into his arms. His hand pressed softly to my forehead, the back of it tracing over my skin, testing for a fever. “Your temperature is normal,” he muttered under his breath, still worried. Yes, my temperature was normal… but I wasn’t. Not even close. The fire burning inside me wasn’t something a thermometer could measure. It was a heat that bloomed from deep within—a slow, insatiable hunger. A hunger only Travian could satisfy.

The Slave Who Owned The Moon

The Slave Who Owned The Moon

“Today, we work.” We work until dark. I don't go to the dining hall. Lucian has asked for his meal to be brought to his room again, but I am not assigned tonight, and I'm grateful for the absence. Instead, when my hands are my own for a slice of evening, I light a candle in my narrow room and open the books I have hoarded like a dark secret. Herbs for fever. Infusions that bring down heat without stealing strength. Salves for burns, compresses for swelling, recipes scribbled in the margins by hands more patient than mine. I stack the thickest spines to raise the candle and lay one volume flat on my knees.
