The Fire Inside Book Novels & Stories

If this went on, it would be flooding everywhere. And when that happened, Blazewing and I would end up drowning right here in this cellar. I shared my thoughts with him, and he agreed it made sense. "We have to get out of here and move above ground," I said. He bit his lip. "I know. We can't stay down here. But the heat outside is brutal. If we move up, we'll just burn alive instead." He lowered his head while he spoke, "I'm sorry, I can't give you a better life. If you had chosen Snowviper back then—"

- I just finished my homework only to suddenly remember that I have a project with the devil that is due in three days. I refuse to work with her out of school. Who knows what her intentions are. My phone begins to ring from my night table effectively cutting off my thoughts. I reach over and unplug the device before sliding the 'accept' button and waiting for the video chat to connect. As it connects I'm met with the face of Faith. "How did your talk with Aurelia go?" She asks, skipping the greetings "Nice to see you too, Faith" I say with a small laugh as I lean my back against my headboard

After a tense silence, Thomas finally sounded utterly defeated. “That’s enough! Stop! The rescue team is already on the way! “Just… go around, don’t come this way.” I exhaled sharply and yanked the wheel, turning the car around. I had gambled right. However, moments of relief were immediately replaced by a wave of heat even stronger than before. Smoke burned in my lungs, and all I could hear was the relentless crackling of the fire. I fought to control the car, spinning through flames and smoke, gripping the wheel with every ounce of strength.

I also appreciate honest critics as well. I promise that when I’m back, you’ll have a far more adventurous writing of Fire on Fire Book 2: ELIJAH. Thank you guys so much. Happy holidays!

I scoffed a bit frustrated, Sebastian and his mind games “What’s the fun if I tell you everything “Sebastian chuckled “Turn left over there” I shook my head as I followed his instructions. We entered a tarmac road and drove for a couple of minutes before I reached a certain whitewashed house. When we were almost reaching, Sebastian was like an ant with its tail on hot embers “How is my hair?” he asked turning the rearview mirror to his face “Blonde” I replied flatly “I know…is it decent?” “Relax “I patted his back “no matter how decent or blonde your hair is, whatever that is inside your heart is what counts the most” I added recalling some saying I saw on our television from a certain monk.

God, she couldn’t even help herself. I march forward, but a hand stops me. “Firefighters are on their way. They will bring her out.” I jerk my hand away from my mother’s grasp. “Don’t go inside, Beckett, please.” I shrug her off and run inside. I need to bring her out. The mansion is burning. Fire roars from inside the walls, pouring out through shattered windows, crawling along the balcony rails. Smoke billows into the sky in thick black waves choking, endless. Heat hits my face even from here, and dread coils in my gut so tight it makes me nauseous.

Beginning: The Fire That Stayed Rain fell like secrets that the sky could no longer keep. It was supposed to be just another evening in New York. A gala, a few polite smiles, a speech about corporate dominance, and the clink of champagne flutes echoing off marble walls. But inside the penthouse of the Forger Hotel—a kingdom in the clouds where power whispered and luxury reigned—everything changed. Everything burned.

While Proserpina can only stare, stunned into bewildered silence–but there was a part of her that was completely horrified–as the goddess of wisdom simply brings the fire to meet the open book because, for real, what the hell is she doing? The cover, for some reason, as if defiant, as if spiteful, refuses to burn, refuses to be destroyed even at the face of Athena’s power, only scorched at best from the edge… but the yellowed pages inside blacken so easily, large pieces of them were quickly turning into crumbled dusts and ashes to the floor, already being carried off by a sudden wind and something like a whimper almost escaped the younger goddess’ lips at the sight… The goddess of shadows bi

A surge goes through my body and I throw myself before the fire place, "Darius, no! wh-why, why did you throw the book into the fire!?" I watch helplessly as the book begins to burn. Taking a hasty move I stick my hand into the flames, trying to grab the book but the heat of the fire consumes my hands and I hiss in pain. Darius grabs onto me, hauling me away from the fire and into his arms. "Fuck, Audrey. What is wrong with you!? Why did you put your hand into the fire, do you not consider you will get burnt!?" My gaze is still fixated on the book as it chips away, the familiar pages folding in burns.

However, I pretended to stay calm and answered, "What videos?" Austin grinned lightly and bit on my earlobe. "I'll wait for you in the wooden hut by the woods." I felt helpless as I watched Austin sauntered off. Ten minutes later, I slowly pushed open the door to the wooden hut. It was pitch-black inside, and I felt unsafe. I reached forward and carefully shuffled my way in. Suddenly, someone with a strong, muscular frame grabbed me and hugged me tightly. "Ahh!" I shrieked in surprise, but quickly calmed down afterward and fell silent. I detected a familiar scent. It was Austin.
