Royalty In Rag: Return Of The Wolfless Queen

Royalty In Rag: Return Of The Wolfless Queen

Sonia’s whisper made Lorraine’s heart clench as she watched the tears that slid out with that statement. She did not remember who her mate was. Yet her heart wouldn’t stop calling for him. A middle-aged woman, followed by two others dressed in scrubs, came out from a white door down the hall as they approached. “I am Greta, miss. You can hand her to us now. We will take good care of her,” the lead midwife with grey-streaked black hair said as she outstretched her hands. Lorraine realised instantly that they were all werewolves.

I am really enjoying this book. I like Athena's character and her growth too. Love how supportive Raymond is. Richard is such an awful person. And Susan? Uggh, don't even get me started! I like the consistent update too. Weldone author.

The Lycan's Rejected Mate

The Lycan's Rejected Mate

The midwife said and Jonathan was quiet for a moment. He had never seen Emma in such a state before and he could almost see her naked. With a sigh through his lips, he turned around and walked out. Immediately, the midwife rushed to Emma and spread her legs. "Get on the bed and hold her hands. She will use you as her support." She said to Mia and the maid immediately did as told. The midwife had a bag in hand and immediately, she brought out a few herbs and squeezed some of them. She used some herbs to wipe down Emma's body while she squeezed the liquid out of those herbs and gave it to Emma.

This life again

This life again

She stops thrashing, and Lockhart looks relieved, stopping for a bit as the midwife then takes over. "I need more towels, and more water. Make sure there's someone holding her hand, this could go either way." she instructs, and the servants that approach disappear, running off to get the items she needed. I move from Lockhart's side, grabbing Isadora's sweaty yet cold hand. She looks at me for a moment, and I'm not sure if she can even see me anymore. Oh, Isadora, I think to myself, how did this happen to you? The midwife begins to talk to Lockhart, and I close my eyes, trying to control the despair hitting me. More blood leaves Isadora's body, and the servants return with a stack of black t

The Don's Secret Heir

The Don's Secret Heir

She turned on her heel and began walking back down the road toward her house, her small figure quickly disappearing into the evening shadows. The village midwife was a small, compact woman with thick grey hair tied back in a neat bun and incredibly steady hands. She took one look at my pale face, the sweat soaking my collar, and the way I was leaning against the clinic’s small front desk. Without asking for paperwork or money, she immediately grabbed my arm and led me down a narrow corridor into a small, plain room in the back. There was a metal cot, a single wooden stool, and the sharp, clean smell of antiseptic.

The Luna's Groom

The Luna's Groom

But I couldn't focus on his words, not when the scene before me was unraveling everything I thought I knew about myself. The midwife laid my squirming infant body on the bed beside my dying mother. Without ceremony, she drew the knife across her own wrist. Blood welled up immediately, dark and glistening in the flickering candlelight. She held her bleeding palm above my tiny mouth, letting the first drops fall onto my lips while her other hand still clutched the knife awkwardly. What happened next unfolded with nightmarish speed.

The Alpha King's Breeder

The Alpha King's Breeder

This is my fault, isn’t it? I’d been doing everything else correctly. I’d seen my midwife regularly. She’s a witch from Eastonia who relocated here and opened her own practice performing traditional healing and midwifery. I’d wanted to deliver at the hospital, however, mostly because Cole works there but also because the majority of the women in my family have had horrific, sometimes deadly, childbirths, and I’m not dumb enough to think that couldn’t happen to me. But going early wasn’t even in my mind. Aviva was two weeks overdue, for Goddess’s sake.

These books have been my lifeline. I am crushed to reach this point and have to leave this beautifully tragic world and all its perfectly flawed characters. I can't wait for the next update, and honestly hope (though I know it is in vain) we get to follow this family tree for even more generations.

Sold as the Alpha King's Breeder

"Just cut it out. Put me under!" "It's too late for that now, sweetheart. This baby was ready to go!" The midwife had donned gloves with the help of her assistant and was moving toward Gemma. Gemma saw her and tensed, her eyes meeting mine and giving me a look of utter terror. "You're doing great, Gem."

I adore this series. I had the privilege to read it a couple years ago on a different platform. It’s incredibly detailed with mostly likeable characters. Plus you get to follow the journey as they grow and develop over several stories. It’s well worth the time invested!

The order of the book is a little confusing, started out with a story about Ethan and Rosalie and mid way through it's like the story has jumped back to were the beginning should be. I love the story but this kinda has me scratching my head .

Sins With My Ex's Father

Sins With My Ex's Father

The midwife lifted the slick, squirming baby high, her wrinkled face breaking into a wide smile. “A gift from the goddess!” she declared, her voice carrying with reverence. And you'd think that was the end… but it was the brutal beginning.

Once His Mate, Now His Rival

Once His Mate, Now His Rival

The midwife. The woman who had saved her life and Jason's, and helped her escape when death was closing in on all sides. She was older now, deep lines etched into her face, her once dark hair turned completely white. She leaned on a long wooden stick as she made her way towards Amber. Tears blurred Amber's vision. "Luna... " the midwife whispered, voice trembling with emotion. Amber didn't let her finish. She stepped forward and pulled the woman into a tight hug, her tears soaking into the older woman's shoulder.

The Return of General Williams

The Return of General Williams

the MD pointed out. "Aha! She will explain better," Richard said and the MD sent his secretary to fetch her. While they were waiting for her, Dr. Pascal continued to look at the record. No one would have suspected anything if not that Tim had detailed information about the families involved. The MD was about to walk back to his seat when the midwife walked in. She saw the strangers but was not bothered. She was about to greet them when she noticed that Dr. Pascal and Richard were going through the birth register. Saying that she was apprehensive did not fully express the extent to which her legs wobbled and she wished to take her life or kill the two. Since she could not do any of them, she
