Reckoning after The Divide

Reckoning after The Divide

Jake, lost it, he strode to the table, letting his hand bang on it. “For weeks I have texted, called, and repeated the same thing over and over again” Ray raised his eyes to meet Jake's; swollen from the dark circles around them. His face softened, and he blinked slowly. “You cheated Jake” he paused, “I can never forgive that and that's why the divorce must go on”

Divided

Divided

I followed in Izak’s shadow as we walked through the library to a sitting area where Lucas had surrounded himself with books. “Alpha,” Izak announced our presence to the man. I allowed myself to scrutinize his hunched form as he read an old scroll. Even bent over the ancient text Lucas commanded attention. My eyes followed his hand as he reached for a delicate teacup that’d been perched precariously on the edge of the table. He drained the cup without lifting his attention from his task and asked, “What is it, Izak?”

Divorce—This Time for Good

Divorce—This Time for Good

His furious screams and pleas echoed through the night, growing fainter with each step until there was only silence. Melanie stood still in the doorway, staring at the spilled soup on the floor. She slowly knelt down. The aroma of the mushroom chowder spread through the air… Soon, it dissipated and vanished completely, like the man who would never come back again. … When the plane touched down on a foreign runway, I looked out at the unfamiliar skyline and felt an odd sense of surrealness. The moment I stepped out of the gate, I saw my father's slightly hunched figure waiting for me. He had once been a business magnate with a very commanding presence. But now, he was just an old man waiting

Billionaire, Let's Divorce!-Book 2

Billionaire, Let's Divorce!-Book 2

"He's just lost the best woman he could ever have in his entire life. Enough, you're stronger than this, okay?" I shook my head, "I'm not, Clara. Aiden was my everything. He knows what makes me tick and what pisses me off. He knows me more than I know myself. He was my backbone," I finished in a shaky whisper. Clara just shook her head. "It's okay." She held me as I cried and after a while, I finally stopped crying. I just laid in her arms, feeling numb to everything. "You know I've always had a bad feeling about that guy," Clara said. Right from the first day, she had never liked Aiden and she didn't even bother to hide it.

A Divorce After My Rebirth

A Divorce After My Rebirth

Her indifferent attitude only seemed to make his gaze sharper. "Natalie, no man from the Johnson family has ever divorced; there have only been widowers." Natalie trembled slightly. She looked into the man's eyes, which were filled with complex emotions and anger. So, was this the reason he had burned her to death in her past life? With a trace of coldness in her eyes, she said, "Fine. Either you can be the first divorcee in your family, or you can go to hell!" Cedric was speechless.

I enjoyed reading this story in the beginning and thought with rebirth things would turn out better but it has just been dragging and going in circles. Don't feel like answers to things are answered just ignored.

if the story still has so many unresolved conflicts, then i believe it has been forced to end. financial issue maybe. Too bad... we dont know the real ending so many novels here. Deep dissappoited. This angered me so much when i have spend so much time here and hoped to much, but i am helpless. Sad.

The Divorcee's Redemption

The Divorcee's Redemption

His jaw is set, and his dark eyes are so cold and heartless. He doesn’t even flinch under my glare, doesn’t so much as blink. He makes me feel like I’m just an inconvenient problem that he has already moved past. Like I never mattered. A sharp, bitter laugh escapes my lips, the sound foreign even to me. "You really have no soul, do you?" He says nothing. He shows not even a sign of remorse. That silence? That awful silence? It tells me everything I need to know. I feel sick. My stomach churns violently, bile rising up my throat. My fingers clutch the divorce papers so hard that the edges curl against my palm.

THE GREAT DIVIDE

THE GREAT DIVIDE

I steered my car inside and stationed it at the carport, beside his dad’s Porsche. Elijah greeted me with a warm hug and ushered me towards their library-like study room. It’s eerily quiet inside, that even her parents bickering wasn’t porous enough to impregnate the room. This is practically perfect for someone who’s easily distracted by the outside world, that you can hear your own heartbeat, or your company’s heartbeat. We leniently sat across the oak table and discussed the succession of the subject. “Where should we start?” Elijah asked. I dived inside my backpack, rustling and rummaging, to empty it and placed them on stacks. I fished out my Algebra notebook and flashed a chapter at El

Ex-husband Demands Remarriage

Ex-husband Demands Remarriage

Hi everyone🌸 I’m honestly shocked and so grateful for how you’re treating this book. My previous book, Divorce? His Biggest Mistake, didn’t get this kind of understanding; when the female lead gave (or almost gave) the male lead a second chance, many readers were upset.

The Long-Awaited Divorce

The Long-Awaited Divorce

"You couldn't give me a child. My father's only wish before he died was to hold a grandchild. Because of you, he never got that. This situation you're in? You deserve it." I gripped the voice recorder hidden in my hand. "So you cheated on me. You hid assets. You left me with nothing. And you think you're the good guy here?" Brad's patience ran out. "So what if I did? We're divorced now. That's the reality, Lauren. Look—we had a few years together. Don't make this pathetic. I stopped loving you a long time ago. Have some self-respect and walk away." Vanessa just stood there behind him, watching me like a cat who'd swallowed the canary.

Unknown Divorce: Timeless Disclosure

Unknown Divorce: Timeless Disclosure

The sea breeze had agitated Daisy, so it took some time for Charlene to see him again when he adjusted the blanket over her. "That book... you read it often?" said Granger as he sat down. By emphasizing "also," he was alluding to a different reader. Charlene knew right away that he meant Thorne. She gave a nod. "Yeah." Granger was reminded of Thorne by her concentration on the book and her manner. The intensity of their expressions was more important than their appearance. Granger came to the realization that Charlene and Thorne shared a passion for the same area and were, in a sense, kindred spirits. Considering that, they ought to have a lot to discuss.
