Chapter 8 Who Else? Now that Colin knew I was working for Greenwald, I didn’t have to hide any of my books or keep my thoughts to myself. He still grumbled, but he’d accepted—for the moment—that trying to come up with something to give the asshole to get him off our backs was the best option. So when we’d gotten home and scarfed our giant sub sandwiches, I spread all the books out on the table and got back to work. I made notes while Colin stepped outside and called his pack council; I hunted down references while he flopped on the couch and read the news.

She exclaimed excitedly, snatching the key up to her hands as she made her way out quickly. Karen peered the key through an old door knob. And when it finally opened, she stepped in slowly shutting the door behind. “Oh wow,” she proclaimed as she walked around the room admiring the sequential arrangements of different categories of books placed on the shelves. And when she spotted a big green book quoting “LYCANS” she grabbed it instantly, scrolling through the pages. “I guess this could be it” she muttered and while she turned to leave, she halted as soon as she saw an envelope dropped down the book.
