Horror Nights

Horror Nights

He was lying face down, and face up, all at once. I live in that house now. I am the village "fixer." And every night, I listen to the scratching beneath the floorboards. I don't fear the ones that crawl. I fear the ones that wait. Because now I know that the most terrifying thing in the world isn't death—it’s a corpse that refuses to close its eyes.

The Bully's Obsession

The Bully's Obsession

I started when he held a finger to my lips "You are not to speak, I'll do all the speaking, you'll only do as you are told....or god help you if you don't" I shivered under his threat His eyes were dark, Like an ocean before a raging storm . A sinister smile played on his lips,he was enjoying my fear... He was feeding on it.... "Don't look so bleak, what I'm going to do a slut like you will surely like it" "Strip!" His voice thundered My face blanched , I just stared at him motionlessly and that seemed to annoy him even more "The seconds are ticking right in my head Gracie and you'll surely be sorry if it gets to one...Now strip!" He growled even more menacingly this time

Kay-Frances Ripley
I have to say, I really enjoyed this book. took me a few days to read it but I was always wanting more. getting up a reading to find out what happened next. I was never bored. I must say that this was an amazing book. not for the feint of heart. I was upset with some comments. this is clearly dark!
Traci Williams
I really liked the plot of this story. The beginning was super cringy and abusive, if you can get past that, the writer does develop the relationship in a way that makes sense. This story could use a lot of editing for grammar, misuse of phrases, and some timeline problems. Otherwise, a great story.

Take A Bite

Take A Bite

A gaping wound tore across his neck, a gruesome wound where a chunk of flesh and artery had been bitten right off. She'd heard of ghouls before, she'd seen some too. Grave stealers, flesh eaters, undead entities, Zombies. So many names, and yet, none of them had struck fear into her until now. Oh Jesus! Her legs had gone weak.

Blood Hunt

Blood Hunt

With a cloth stuffed in his mouth. He saw there were two men sitting on the high chairs. They were just looking at him but they were too intimidating. He remembered how much he cried for Adam to untie him, to leave him, to send him back to Stephen. Speaking of Stephen. Another wave of shock trembled passed his body. He saw Stephen was thrown on the ground. He was hurt. He was choked. And then he bit Adam. His eyes turned yellow. His fangs elongated. And he killed Adam?

Claimed by My Brother’s Best Friend (A Mafia Romance)

Their fear followed me, clinging to my heels. The night hit me, cold and biting, carrying the metallic tang of blood that clung to my skin like a second shadow. My breath came slow and deliberate, chest rising and falling as the anticipation coiled tight inside me. It was time. Time to remind the Greco family what true fear tasted like. Time to taste blood again. Time to destroy. ************** AUTHOR’S NOTE Hey, amazing readers!

When the Alpha Howls

When the Alpha Howls

I thought of that flash of chain, that warning sound, the dark shape cutting across my beam. I told myself it was a coincidence. “Shot?” The second man echoed, interested now. The older man’s mouth curled. “Silver’s the trick. Everybody knows that.” Grace’s hand landed on my back, warm and firm, guiding me forward. “We’re not listening to this,” she muttered under her breath. “Eyes on the pastries.” My tongue felt thick. “They’re talking about… werewolves?” Grace didn’t react the way I expected. No laughter, no dismissal. Just a quiet, hard tension in her shoulders.

She laid it in front of me and began pacing around the office. “You don’t understand. I get that. They all sound like a bull when you don’t know them. So we’ll cut to the chase. To make things more... understandable, let's say, all the legends are true.” She paused and waited for me to react, when I stared blankly at her, she gestured to the giant scroll she placed in front of me. On uncertain moves, I reached for it and flipped the old cover to reveal very, very, very disturbing pictures. “Oh my God!” I whispered when my eyes laid at the portrait of a vampire, and a blood-pet.

The Alpha's Return

The Alpha's Return

He made a vain attempt to conceal his fear, but it was leaking out of him like a putrid stench. Shadow, stirred with excitement as I began to partially shift. Mr. Gance however, didn’t. His eyes bulged as he witnessed my arm morphing from human to Lycan. As my claws extended, I wasted no time in seizing his neck, hoisting him up against the wall until his feet were left dangling in the air. Bringing my face closer to his, I sneered, "Are you frightened now?" His breaths turned labored until he eventually managed to croak, "I have nothing to fear. You're just a beast, and I've handled plenty of beasts before."

The human hybrid betrothed to the lycan prince

Thalia gasped, her hand instinctively covering her mouth, the shocking sight disrupting her initial intentions. A heavy silence enveloped the house, signaling to Thalia that something was seriously amiss. Closing her eyes, she focused on the unusual stillness, attempting to tap into the thoughts of those within. What she heard echoed in her mind sent a chill down her spine: "Help, the ghost shifters are real." "Ghost shifters?" Thalia repeated, her confusion evident. Without hesitation, her claws unsheathed, a clear sign of her readiness to confront any potential threat. Determined, she headed towards the interior of the house, her senses heightened, poised for action.
