His eyes bulged as he witnessed my arm morphing from human to Lycan. As my claws extended, I wasted no time in seizing his neck, hoisting him up against the wall until his feet were left dangling in the air. Bringing my face closer to his, I sneered, "Are you frightened now?" His breaths turned labored until he eventually managed to croak, "I have nothing to fear. You're just a beast, and I've handled plenty of beasts before."

Thalia gasped, her hand instinctively covering her mouth, the shocking sight disrupting her initial intentions. A heavy silence enveloped the house, signaling to Thalia that something was seriously amiss. Closing her eyes, she focused on the unusual stillness, attempting to tap into the thoughts of those within. What she heard echoed in her mind sent a chill down her spine: "Help, the ghost shifters are real." "Ghost shifters?" Thalia repeated, her confusion evident. Without hesitation, her claws unsheathed, a clear sign of her readiness to confront any potential threat. Determined, she headed towards the interior of the house, her senses heightened, poised for action.
