No matter how hard I tried to push it away, it was always there, gnawing at me from the inside out. "Miss, you have a guest," Arcel announced as she entered my bedroom. I raised an eyebrow, puzzled by the unexpected news. I couldn't recall ever having a visitor before, so I was curious to know who it could be. "Alright," I replied, my tone tinged with curiosity. After all, it wasn't as if this "guest" posed any potential threat to me. The security measures in this mansion were as tight as the Great Wall of China, so I felt perfectly safe within its walls.

"My name is Sarah, and I will be your hostess today. Is there anything you might need help with?" Hostess? What exactly would she be doing? Kyle frowned. Gasper leaned over to whisper to Kyle the answer to his unspoken query. "These hostesses provide a wide array of services. They are tasked with recommending amenities to visitors, changing chips or even accompanying them at meals." Kyle began to have a rough idea as he turned his attention to Sarah. "Are you in charge of customer services?" "That's right sir." Sarah replied.

manager Claudia told Aria. Aria nodded her head. She looked at Mindy, who is crying and looked truly stressed. She then looked at the guest, whose eyes are red and the smell of alcohol is coming off of him in waves. Aria wrinkled her nose. "Sir, as a guest of our hotel, you are very important to us" Aria began. When she said those words, the guest thought he would get his wallet from that maid today. But that's not the case here. "Hmm, look. Learn Some respect from this beautiful girl here" he snapped looking at Claudia.

This whole thing is eating me up, and I really need someone to talk to. When I arrive at his door, I discover he has a guest. I'm about to turn away when he calls me back. “Do you want to see me?” he asks. His guest turns to briefly look at me. I clear my throat. “I—” “Pastor.” The guest gets up from his seat. “Later, sir. I have somewhere to go to.” “Alright. May God be with you.” They both shake hands, the guest bowing, before he leaves.

" Wow! It doesn't seem like she can see ghosts hmm. Yes she can see ghosts but she doesn’t want to tell to other people about that. "But you can see ghost duh!” I said with full of sarcasm. "Yep. If it's a real ghost, and are you scared in ghosts? Opps.. you’re a ghoster remember?" And my crazy friend laughed as if she wasn't a ghoster too. "Wow am I the only ghoster here? You too" I muttered to her. "Hmm Aeshe whats the feeling of being ghosted?” she asked me out of nowhere. "Did you see the guys who cry when we are leaving them? And to see a guy crying with just a week of flirting with them it would have been a lot of pain that it caused them to cry like that." I said to her.

The grandeur of the place was magnificent. And we could easily tell, from the aura around the other guests, that most of them were Alphas of prestigious packs. The host must be a man of big influence… Oh, how could I forget? The host was none other than Jacob Gallahad, my mate. I didn't bother to look for him when we walked in, knowing how occupied he must have been at the moment, attending to the VIP guests. But Lyla wouldn't stop asking about him. “Where is he? Where is he?” She repeated in an annoying song.

Dana nudged me with her elbow. "Told you. You’re trending." The event was more elegant than I expected. Polished white floors, linen-covered tables, soft jazz playing in the background. Waiters moved around offering champagne and tiny hors d'oeuvres on silver trays. "Miss Evans?" a voice called out. I turned to see a tall woman approaching. Late thirties, perfect posture, red lips. "I’m Gabrielle Keene. I handle guest relations for the Circle. It’s such a pleasure to finally meet you."

I inwardly snorted. I nodded repeatedly. “Yeah. I’m kinda lost. Could you please help me find the main door?” “You’re going in the opposite direction. It happened a lot to his guests.” She gestured. “This way.” “So, he hosts a lot of guests?” I felt like I was fishing for information. Maybe I was. Zax Skoll intrigued me so much that I even considered staying for a night to learn something about him since he didn’t exist on the Internet. But why? Who doesn’t have a LinkedIn account these days?

“After you hid her from me all night? After you made me look like a fool in my own pack?” “I didn’t hide her,” he snapped. “And you have no right to storm into my quarters and harass my guest.” Guest. The word echoed in my head.
