ARTEMIS POV “Cut it out,” I swat him. “Talk to him, as his best friend. And please help me find out what the truth is. I need to have all the details about everything. I really like him A, but if he is a threat to my mission, then I will have to let him go. Too many lives depend on us. I can’t be a woman and think with my hooha.” He raises his hands, “your what?” I groan, “my hooha, yes that what I call it. Moving on!”

Enraged, Kelvin lunged at Lucifer, but Lucifer effortlessly brushed him off with a single hand, sending Kelvin crashing to the floor. Lex remained standing in place, his gaze fixed on me without wavering. "Seriously, y'all are here for me, right? So what are you waiting for?" Lucifer smirked.

Harlow’s POV I love a hunt but not like this. Not when my men’s lives have already been taken. Those filthy animals, killing anyone in my pack. They are under my protection. I am going to kill them. All I think about is vengeance all the way to the cliffs. But I stop in my tracks as I get there, as all I can smell is blood. I quickly scour the area for anyone I recognize, but the two dead men are not people I know. Rogues and I don’t get to kill them!

I say hesitantly. “Sup dude? How’s life on the dark side?” Xane blurts out. “Don’t be a douchebag.” Donnie buts in. “It’s fine Donnie. Life couldn’t be worse, couldn’t be better.” I huff. “Cool.” Xane laughs. “Show him the mask for the game we are playing later!” Alex chuckles. “Sure. Plain white mask, black hoodie and Dead Man’s Woods. We’re going to play manhunt.” Donnie says with a smile.

Scarlyt says coming up to us. “Actually, that would help,” Eve says. They all five join hands and then they close their eyes. Nova speaks first, begining a chant and the other sisters join in right away. After a few turns of it being repeated, I hear Scarlyt join in as well. All their hands intertwined begin to glow. Scarlyt’s glowing her natural green and the witches all glowing orange. A powerful surge of magic can be felt eminating from the circle and I can’t help the awe I feel being here with them, during this, despite the circumstances. Juno was right about them, and I can see why they were chosen for all that is to come.

“Then let us proceed.” The clerk turned her attention to Halo first. "Please state your full name." Halo inhaled. "Halo Alfred Remington." She didn’t think it would feel like this at first, but the thought of knowing that this would be the last time she would officially refer to herself as Halo Remington felt like.......relief. The clerk nodded and then shifted to Talon. Despite already knowing him. It was customary that they stated their names themselves. “ "And yours?" "Talon Sullivan Ashwood."

The Hadens had found them again. The three of them; Mariana, Scholastica, and Cordis immediately started fighting them off. Theresa tried to run away with the glowing halo but was stopped by one of the Hadens who pushed her to the ground, making the halo to fall to the ground. He ventured to pick it up with his hands but the temperature of the halo melted off his hand, up to his shoulder level, and while he was screaming in pain and agony, Theresa gave him a death blow, clamped the halo with the hook rod, and ran off.
