I sighed in relief when I heard the unmistakable growl of Nathan and knew they were almost here. My friends were fighting a good fight, but they were outnumbered, with the rogues pushing them back in their desperate attempts to get closer to me. I backed away, grabbing a chair to use as a weapon as I stepped closer to the wall to get away from them. Instead of hitting the wall as I expected, I backed into a person. I froze as I felt something jab me in the neck. Not again was my last thought before I blacked out. Nathan’s point of view

Finally, I got to see the full view of the wolf and with the way it looked, I could easily guess that it was a female. " Sebastian, where are you," I yelled. Now, there was a distance of fewer than two meters between us and at a point, my hope died. Whoever this person was would finally get what she wanted. It was just a matter of time before the wolf jumped on top of me, thereby making me fall face-first to the floor. I didn't bother to struggle because I knew that no matter my strength, I can never outpower a wolf even if it was an Omega. In an attempt to fulfill my last wish of seeing the wolf that had tried to kill me, I turned my back to the floor.

“Stop trying so hard. You keep comparing yourself with him and that’s only going to final downfall” With that, she spun on her heel and stormed out of the office. She was amazed by the level of courage she mustered up to talk down on him.

There was a door under the stairs, probably to the basement which is where they made me sleep last time. My step-father stood there with the door open. Suddenly he shoved me and I slipped, falling down each step. Rolo barked and growled at him, earning a kick for himself before he too got locked in the basement with me. I got up again and tried walking, but as soon as I got to my feet, a piercing pain made me groan in agony. “Need any help?” Leo smirked. I shook my head and leaned to the wall for support, standing on my toes, intending to stop them from being inflicted with further damage. I was so emotional earlier that I did not care about the consequences of my actions. I mean, what if it was Dylan that walked into that room? My tactic was working, but my toes ached. As soon as I reached the bottom of the staircase, I collapsed again. I let out a string of curse words, but stopped when I heard Leo chuckle.

“DON’T YOU DARE DROP ME! If I fall, I’ll be buried seven feet deep just from impact! No shovel needed!” And then, of course, I fell. “Goddess,” I screamed, “YOU ARE MEAN AND RUDE!”

The fall was more than something he could control. He couldn’t stop the scream that forced itself out of his mouth as he found himself struggling against the force of gravity. His body hit the window guards from the top most floor and his head also hit one of the opened window glasses and continued downward until it got to the middle floor at the fourth second where it hit another opened glass window, all this slowing down his movement and increasing the pains of his fall. He closed his eyes in anticipation of his death as he continued falling.

Natasha's POV I fall. My fingers flat against the watery floor. My ass wasn't any better, no, it was worse, I felt the pain travelling through my spine to my skull, earning a groan from my throat. I shouldn't have got up. Shouldn't have attempted any shit, and look at me, wanting to shed tears but it's no wear to be found. And of course, I wasn't suitable to attempt another try of standing on my feet. No shit. I had a feeling my next fall would be so terrible, terrible enough I might even lost a few teeth, for the floor is slippery.

We're both alpha's so survival such high dangerous fall ain't no surprise. Our survival has been certain and assured. So is the reason behind brother Rowan endeavouring into such life threatening risky fall. Our skins are both pretty tough to withstand the fall. It's oroff to the fall but not proof to it's pains. I hurt badly, fiercely and terribly. My every bone quakes. They quake within my flesh. Seems as though the fall triggers an unknown vibration switch within my body. An unfavourable vibratory switch. I sneeze on the floor.

Something that scared me to admit even to myself. That I was falling HARD.
