It was lighting up the whole living room, so I didn’t need the little light on in the dining room that night for once. The house was extremely quiet because I had just put all the kids to bed, and they were snuggled up under their blankets. So, I walked downstairs and checked all the doors before settling down in my chair for the night. Enjoying the quiet, I pulled out my phone to read a few chapters of my latest favorite romance novel while grabbing my blanket and wrapping it around me.

The house was grey and black in colour, cobwebs hung on each side. Making the house look like an ancient witch house, designed only for the Divines. Owls hooting were heard from afar, bats flapping their wings. Huns could be heard as if a choir was nearby but then..there was none.

Haley Crescent Moon is by far bigger than Red Moon. It even has it’s own little grocery store. The boys are excited as we drive by stores and an arcade. When we pull up to the pack house, my jaw drops. It’s grander than Red Moon’s house. It’s an antebellum style home that is two stories tall, three if you count what looks like a sun room at the very top. It has gorgeous white square shaped columns that wrap around the whole house with a wrap around porch on the first and second floor.
