A glimmer of dim light shone from the sidelines of the window curtains of an elongated house. This two-story building made entirely of wood is quite large. By the desk there was a tall lamp with a gold base and a shade made of stained glass in gold and ivory tones. I tugged a little gold chain to turn it on. The sun was midway through setting outside, and past the window the sky was hurrying into blackness. I looked out the window at the spiky silhouette of the forest. The house was grey and black in colour, cobwebs hung on each side. Making the house look like an ancient witch house, designed only for the Divines. Owls hooting were heard from afar, bats flapping their wings. Huns could be heard as if a choir was nearby but then..there was none.

Haley Crescent Moon is by far bigger than Red Moon. It even has it’s own little grocery store. The boys are excited as we drive by stores and an arcade. When we pull up to the pack house, my jaw drops. It’s grander than Red Moon’s house. It’s an antebellum style home that is two stories tall, three if you count what looks like a sun room at the very top. It has gorgeous white square shaped columns that wrap around the whole house with a wrap around porch on the first and second floor.
