I asked, and she cleared her throat. “From the book your mom wrote, she set the stage in the Northern palace, with every exact feature as it is.” She said, “There's a maid in the book that's set to marry a nobleman's son. Although they hate her, it's required to keep the life of their son.” “I'm still waiting for the part where she's in love with a woman.” I said impatiently. “Will you be patient or will you hurry the good part of the story?!” She rolled her eyes, and I instantly kept quiet.

She turned, her black orbs glaring daggers at me. "Babe, who is this?". She asked him, her eyes scanning me in disgust. "My housekeeper". Not the truth but a little better off than the truth. "Ohh, a new maid!". I clenched my teeth at her use of the word maid. "Better off than Stella anyway". She added.

she said as I entered. I heaved a heavy sigh and sat at the end of the bed with my back to her. I removed my shoes, they were aching my feet and the pain seemed to be traveling all over my body. I loosened my tie and took of my jacket, finally. "What is it Emma?" "You hired a new maid?" Wasn't it obvious? I was certain she had already seen her. "Yes." My head was pounding still. "She'll be making your coffee now?" "Yes." I was getting annoyed.

Where they going to give us up in hopes that they could free their daughter? The maid paused at a wooden door and wrapped quietly against it. She announced her arrival. Lauren was lost in her thoughts when the door suddenly opened. A woman in her late forties in a maid's outfit went straight into her room. Her left hand was placed on her waist, while her right hand was holding a rag. She approached Lauren and shouted at her in a hostile manner. “Hey, get up already and start cleaning the house! If you are thinking you are a princess here, let me remind you… you are not!” ‘Oh right she forgot, she's one of them. Not a princess, but a servant.’

Wendy asked but she didn't reply. “The darkness warned me that you were my downfall but I couldn't kill my daughter. I had to forget whatever it was and spend the little life I had with my family.” “If I am your downfall why won't you kill me?” “Your death is nigh. Just so you know, I'm the old woman that gave you the book of unbinding. After you failed to complete the Michael rituals you became vulnerable and I took the opportunity.” Wendy told her. She was even more surprised. Was the world ending, or perhaps, this was some sort of joke or prank that they were trying to play?
