The Hunger Games: Catching Fire の小説・ストーリー

The Hollows hesitated. Heather’s eyes narrowed. “You don’t know what you’re playing with, Ragnor.” I grinned. “Watch me.” Then I let the fire loose. Flames exploded from my hands, roaring like a beast unleashed. They surged forward in a wave, engulfing the Hollows in searing heat. Their screeches pierced the air as their smoky forms twisted and writhed, unable to reform against the relentless flames. Heather snarled, stepping back, eyes flashing with something between fury and intrigue. “Interesting,” she mused. “But fire alone won’t be enough.”

Chapter 75: Escaping the Flames Thorne’s Pov In an instant, my world turned to chaos. One minute I was caught in some sort of silent game of wills between Garrett and the FBI; the next, flames lanced up the walls, ravenous beasts eating upwards with terrifying speed. The air thickened in an instant, filling with smoke, heat, and the acrid smell of burning wood. I couldn't move.

The flames blazed on, intense and untamed, burning bright against the white landscape. I had no idea what else to do, but I kept piling snow onto her, desperate to quench the flames that seemed unstoppable. Finally, after a minute that felt like a lifetime, the fire sputtered out. Scarlett lay there, her body still and vulnerable. Her skin glowed faintly, as if some otherworldly energy had just released her, and after a few heartbeats, she began to stir, slowly coming back to herself.

--- The Firestarter Fiona and Darwin were deep in strategy when the explosion ripped through the building. A deafening roar. Glass shattering. Flames erupting. The force sent Fiona flying backward. Heat rushed over her skin, smoke billowing instantly. Her ears rang, the world tilting sideways as she gasped for breath. Darwin was already moving. He grabbed her, yanking her down behind the overturned coffee table as debris rained around them. Thalassa’s voice crackled over the comms, panicked. “Fiona! Darwin! What the hell just happened?!”

Without another thought, I rush inside, the screams from the fire ringing in my ears. I look around, my head on a swivel, and try to find Emily. I can hear her cries and yells for help, the agony in her voice. It makes my blood run cold, adrenaline coursing through my veins as I push through the flames of the fire, finding her trapped inside an office. With one forceful kick, the door comes crumbling down. Emily and I’s gazes meet. Relief floods across her face as she rushes towards me, slipping into my arms as I pick her up, her legs wrapping around my waist. She feels weak in my arms, ready to give up.

On the other, Asher lifts his sword, blood gleaming down the blade. I’m shaking. I don’t know who to run to. They both look at me. Waiting. I try to move, but the world begins to tilt. Flames burst up from the ground. Screams echo from the distance. I hear names I don’t recognize. Faces flash in the smoke—Elise. Madeline. Theo. The Queen. They all burn. And still, I stand frozen. I don’t choose. I don’t speak. I just stand. And when the fire finally reaches me, I don’t even scream.

Lisa's POV I gathered whatever courage was left in me and turned around. As expected, the monster was already looking down at me. Our eyes collided and for a second, it felt like my entire body was swallowed by flames. That look in his eyes, it was something else. I swear I felt it rather than just saw it. The way he stared, it reminded me of a wolf who likes to toy with its prey before he devours it. Or worse like a drug addict who has finally tasted his drug after waiting too long.

he said I saw Mel losing the rope tied to her and immediately she grabbed the Omega to the ground Lukas use the distraction to throw a digger to the leader and he fell to the ground Lukas rushed to me and set me free while Peter held the leader to the ground. I hugged Lukas “ Thanks for saving me” I said still hugging me I saw the leader pushed Peter away and grabbed a gun to shoot Lukas I stand in front of it I heard the sound of the gun Everyone shouted and I saw my mate dug out the heart of the leader He came to me quickly and held me tight “ Jessica pls don't close your eyes. Stay with me pls" I saw Lukas weak for the first time I black out

I whispered. Nobody answered immediately. That scared me more. Then suddenly— Pain exploded behind my eyes. Sharp. Violent. Immediate. I gasped softly and grabbed the edge of the nearest table before my knees gave out. “Elara.” Nora caught my arm quickly. The hall blurred around me. Voices echoed strangely. And suddenly— Fire flashed across my vision. A palace corridor is burning. Someone screaming. A child is crying. Then a boy’s voice shouting desperately through the flames—

“I want you to watch. Look at your mother, hear her screams, watch her die. I want you to see what happens when you betray your alpha!” I couldn’t look away, my body wouldn’t obey. Mommy! Use your powers! Save yourself! I begged silently. The tinder ignited quickly, and within seconds the whole pyre was engulfed in flames. Her clothes caught fire first, and her hair melted, before her skin began to blister and bubble. But she never screamed. She held my gaze for as long as she could, until she was overcome by pain and passed out. It was a small blessing that she lost consciousness, and would not feel her flesh burning away from her bones.
