Seated at a vanity, applying makeup with meticulous precision, was Victoria Harrington. Lila’s breath caught in her throat. The woman was as stunning as she was intimidating. Dressed in a silk robe, her dark hair cascading in waves over her shoulders, Victoria was the epitome of elegance. Lila opened her mouth to introduce herself, but the words died on her lips. “Have you no manners?” Victoria’s voice was icy, her gaze not lifting from the mirror. “Knocking so violently and insolently on my door.” “I—I’m sorry, Madam,” Lila stammered, her face flushing with embarrassment. “I thought you didn’t hear me. I was outside for quite some time…”

My hands were shaking as I picked the CD plate under the note and inserted it in a laptop close to the note. As soon as the laptop turned on, I saw a man half naked kissing a woman in a red champagne gown! Me! I identified the man as Ethan as he tore my gown! The remaining part of the film was like porn! Intense sex! Forced sex!..... Again! I threw the laptop on the ground and it shattered into pieces. I got up and picked a white shirt that was neatly folded on a couch and wore it. I opened the wardrobe and I picked black pants and banded my hair in a ponytail.

For her own peace, she needed to confirm if it was really Tobias she saw or maybe she was just hallucinating. She remembered the invitation card the woman gave her back on the beach. She scanned through her bag to find it. She remembered putting it there before heading out of her suite early on. She was still raiding her bag trying to look for the card when the music coming inside the room started playing. “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga. She was stunned for a bit. She could feel her heart racing.

Stranger (smirking): “No. You need something far more dangerous. You need the truth.” He took her to a private room — low lights, velvet drapes, the scent of arousal clinging to the air like perfume. She stumbled onto a chaise lounge as he poured her water, watching her like a man who had seen too much. Stranger: “Vivienne didn’t just vanish. She was erased. And Damian…” He leaned in. “…helped bury her.” Lydia’s lips parted. The room wasn’t spinning anymore. Not from the drink — from that name.

He didn't even glance at it. A waiter tried to stop him from drinking too much and was met with a furious outburst. "My wife is missing. Can you help me find her?" The waiter sneered and walked away. Drunk out of his mind, Liam stumbled into the master bedroom while mumbling "Winnie" under his breath. Thanks to the pale moonlight filtering through the window, he vaguely made out a figure lying on the bed with its back turned to him. He thought it was a drunken hallucination and rubbed his eyes.

But as the night wore on, the initial shock of the crowd began to settle into something more dangerous: curiosity. Lily excused herself to find the ladies' lounge, needing a moment of silence away from the suffocating heat of the ballroom. As she walked down a quiet, dimly lit hallway lined with antique mirrors, she finally let her shoulders drop. She leaned against the cool marble wall, closing her eyes. "You're quite good," a voice said from the shadows. Lily’s eyes snapped open. Standing at the end of the hall was a woman she had noticed earlier—a tall, elegant woman with hair as red as blood and eyes that held a terrifying intelligence. She was Elena Vance, a woman rumored to have once b

Audrey asked without thinking and she immediately regretted her words. “Technically I can’t see, you are my eyes and I only believe what you tell me” “Hmmm, so I can ask you a question then?” “Sure” The lady thought for a while before her eyes suddenly lit up and her lips curled into a smile. “What’s Vanessa’s most noticeable feature?” “Your most noticeable feature?” He repeated the phrase after her and she could see his lips slowly stretch into a little smile. “You have a lot of features baby” “I know, the most noticeable”
