Her blonde her rests around her face like a curtain and shields her features from view. "Rachel," I let out groggily. At once her face appears and snaps up to meet my own. She hurriedly scoots to me and tries to raise me up into a sitting postiton. I feel so weak. "It took awhile for it to wear off me. You should be fine soon," she whispers softly. I nod my head and take the chance to look around me. It looks like we're in a small basement. Nothing is placed in this room, but one single light bulb that hangs from the ceiling above giving off a soft glow. It must of been what I saw flickering earlier.

The rest of them laughed. "Tie them up and put them in the boot!" He commended and we were binded and shoved into 3 individual boots of the van. I cried into my laps, "Adrian…" I hoped he was okay. The last thing we feared to happen was what just happened. •••••••••• I woke up in the dark, feeling sick and in pain. My head hurt, and I couldn't move. I was trapped in a cold, lonely basement. The air smelled awful, like something rotten, and the silence scared me even more.

I lower the phone and whirl around. The last time I was drunk in a bar and felt the energy shift like this, a vampire was feeding off an unwilling human in the basement. This, though…this doesn’t feel like a vampire. It feels bigger, which doesn’t make sense. I’m drunk and confused. Yeah…that has to be it. I hold up my phone again and this time I get so far as unlocking it. Before I can read Lucas’s words, the same vibration echoes through the bar. I’m not paying attention to what I’m doing as I look around again, and somehow, I’ve accidentally called Lucas.

It dripped onto his body, running down his length, and settling on his thighs. He took his last breath, with his neck totally losing control as his head fell to the side. I made a mental note to clean the mess later. For now, I needed to get back to Ramson, and see how far he had gone. Stepping out of the basement, I headed to my car. About to kickstart the ride, my phone buzzed. A private number. Definitely the same one. In a haste, I dialed Ramson. “There's a call. Ready?” I hurriedly questioned.

He took out his phone and sent a text while Helga and Lila followed him to the basement. The basement had been modified with Iron wood, which was sound proof to even Werewolves. Weston is holding the phone on speaker. ”Klanker rental housing, how may I help you” comes this voice of a woman, probably his secretary. ”Hello, I was just wondering, if you have any rental units, that are located in the basement floor or below the ground?” Weston politely asks. ”Um, I can find out, sir. Just a moment” She puts us on hold and this horrible music starts to play. After a few minutes the woman returns to us.

The voice was coming from beneath the mansion. Marcus had hidden him in the basement. "No!" Ross shouted as Liam ran toward a hidden staircase. "It's a trap!" But Liam didn't stop. Emma ran after him. "Wait!" Together, they descended into the darkness. The basement was cold and damp. At the end of the corridor was a heavy steel door. Behind it came another weak voice. "Liam..."
