No way. "You... finished them?" He shrugged. "That isn't possible." I hadn't even given a single thought to it yesterday since he left because I was sure he wouldn't meet up and had only been bluffing. There was no way he could've read eight books in less than twenty four hours. That shouldn't be possible. "You doubting me? Ask me anything." He crossed his arms. My eyes couldn't resist traveling to his hands where tattoos peeked out of his jacket. "O... Okay." I cleared my throat and reached for North Shore Series. "Who were the main characters of book three? Delightful Sins."

How had he managed to quietly manipulate me over these last six months? As I finished my reading, I closed my book, set it down on my lap and stared at the cover once again: The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, by Anne Rice. I looked over at the clock radio and squinted to read the time- 2:43 a.m. 'Could that be right? Had I stayed up nearly all night to finish this book?

She points to the table located behind Kenji before turning her attention back to the stack on the table she sits at. Shaking my head, I walk over to the table she pointed at, getting to work to look through the piles of books placed on top. Three hours later A yawn from Kenji catches my eye, causing me to yawn in return. Glancing down at my watch I see that it is morning. Three hours have passed by and we are still no closer to finding the book that we need to free Remiel.

As was the section on "Strategic Alliances: Knowing Who to Trust and Who to Watch." Finally, I glanced at the antique clock on the desk and realized with a start that nearly an hour had passed. I needed to get ready. I closed the book carefully and returned it to its place on the shelf. As I turned to leave, my eyes caught on another book, this one was slim and bound in white leather: "The Luna's Gift: Understanding Your True Power." I pulled it from the shelf, but when I opened it, the pages were blank. Completely blank, as if the book had never been written in or the ink had somehow faded entirely.

The opening sealed shut behind them both. Silence swallowed the facility whole. Then every screen flared to life one last time, displaying a single final message: DAY SEVEN HAS BEGUN. THE ORIGINAL IS COMING. AND IT KNOWS HER NAME.

Atlas reached out with a numb hand and clicked the radio off. The silence that followed was absolute, terrifying, and profound. The last fragile thread of hope that had sustained us through the nightmare of the Keep snapped in an instant. No armies were coming to save us. There was no safe territory waiting over the mountains. The entire world was burning, devoured by the same grotesque horror that had taken Sia, Timmy, and Marcus. Vanya sank onto a wooden stool, burying her face in her hands as silent, hopeless tears spilled through her eyes. Kenny stared at the black radio with wide, hollow eyes, his shoulders slumping under the weight of total despair.

I am feeling better now which is why I am uploading. P.S The good news is that, This book is ALMOST done! I am so excited for the ending and I really hope you liked this chapter. The last chapter will be uploaded on 9/5/2020 at 10:00pm Hawaii Standard Time. I am so excited for the last one, because this book has taken me six years to finish. As I delved into the pages of the book, the doubts that once lingered in the room filled my mind, challenging me to prove them wrong. Hours passed, and as I neared the end of the book, the elusive answer remained beyond my grasp. Frustration and doubt began creeping in, a heavy weight on my shoulders as the ticking of the watch echoed the passing time, a constant reminder of the dwindling time. Knowing I had less than two hours left increased my anxiety level from lack of solutions, and despite the efforts I had spent in hours of reading, inspiration eluded me, leaving me on the verge of despair.

A crowd of zombies had already poured in from there. As the screams echoed, I switched off the monitors, lay down on my bed, and picked up a book. It wasn't a long read; I could probably finish it in three or four hours. By then, everything outside should be over. … When I closed the book, four hours had passed. It was the longest I had ever spent reading a book. The idea that I'd gained a little more knowledge left me feeling quite satisfied. When I pulled up the feeds again, bodies were scattered all over the safe house. Many infected were drifting aimlessly through the building.

But, I am sure she will make it out, and so does everybody, hopefully, soon someone will come to rescue us. Hopefully… **** TICK … TOCK … I don’t know how much time had passed, but it was a few more hours, I could hear people’s stomachs growling from hunger and so did mine. I looked down at George, he was sleeping on my lap, and his mother curled in the corner. She must be hungry too, but the food… Who’s going to ask for it? What happened last time was too disgusting for me, and I don’t intend to get that jerk's hands on me again.
