Good Girl in Action

Good Girl in Action

“Spare his life. Take mine instead. I have lived an awfully amazing life. My disappearance will affect no one since I have served the people with my best.” “You love your cousin that much?” I smirked. “If this is what you call love, I can now die in peace.” “Any last words?” I glanced at Kylo’s terrified face as she hugged Niah. “Kylo… your father must be very proud of you. As my apprentice, I am passing down my throne to you. Be brave and don’t put my death to waste.” “No…” she uttered. “Remember that death is not the end of me. It’s my beginning. I will haunt you even in your dreams.”

What I read was one of the only few novels I like. The characters here are interesting and the story from the 1st chapter onwards it's great. I would like to tell what happened in story but no spoiler😆.

What should I say about this story? It's just awesome. It got a good plot and appears promising. Author has done an awesome job in depicting the emotions portrayed by the characters n fantasy world build up. I usually don't read fantasy genre, but this one caught my eyes. Kudos to the author .........

The Last Choice

The Last Choice

"Every gift you ever gave us came in two. Except the cake. Why am I always last?" The room went quiet. He frowned. "This is how it's always been. What's wrong with you today?" My mother shot me a look. "She's older. She's better. That's the order. If you were half as good as her, you'd go first." I had nothing left to say. Grace made her wish. The family sang around her. When it was my turn, the candles had almost burned out. Dante shrugged. "No more candles. Wishes don't mean anything anyway. You can make one next year, Eleanor."

One Last Request

One Last Request

The candle that was shaped like a 2 on the cake felt like a joke. At the end of his call, as if Jason Smith felt guilty, he added, "I've neglected you lately, so once I'm done with this busy period, shall I take you to see the aurora?" I hung up, and our home went completely silent. Even the air seemed to be mocking my marriage. What a failure all of this was. It was at this time that Jason's assistant sent me a message on WhatsApp, asking in that familiar way what I wanted reimbursed this time and telling me to just name it.

The Last Full Moon

The Last Full Moon

Blake removed his attention towards the painting of 'The Last Supper' and started walking away. "Why are you leaving?" Blackwheel asked. "Are you saying that Jesus is a fraud. I know I don't believe in him yet but I don't think he is a fraud." Blake stopped and turned. "Jesus isn't a fraud," he said calmly. "If there should be any fraudster, it should be Leonardo Da Vinci." "Why?" Blackwheel asked. "Because he is the one who decided to paint 'The Last Supper' in an unholy way."

A Chance Encounter

A Chance Encounter

He couldn't go down without at least putting up a decent fight. Before any of them knew it, it was Friday. It was the one day Arius had been fearing for the past week. This was his last day on Earth, his last day seeing these people, these places. It was his last day with Jaida. He had to try and make the most of it. He had to do all he could to make a few good memories that would stay with him forever.

The Last Hybrid

It’s my last link to Aiden. The paramedics tell me to hold on a little longer and I hear one of the nurses snap at Lilith telling her that now is not the time for this behavior. That’s the last thing I heard before my world went black.

The Last Flame

She giggled when she was tickled by their flapping wings against her face. Theo smiled first before answering. Maddie takes away all his stress from ruling even with just her smile. "This is the sanctuary of the novis flam." Maddie turned around and her brows met as she cannot understand the last phrase Theo said. "The what?" Theo pointed to the fountain with his hand and Maddie followed it with her eyes. "The last flame." Maddie nodded before she looked at Theo. "Last? What do you mean by that?" Theo asked her to sit on the nearby bench. The guards are scattered around the place but no one is near them. Somehow they got some privacy which put Maddie at ease. She glanced at the fountain firs

THE LAST INITIATE

THE LAST INITIATE

I smiled when I thought of Timmy and the other initiates who were and will never be informed of the rapid ‘disappearance’ of all the monies and all other material objects obtained while in Ebie. I believed I would not end up in that category after experiencing it the first time, courtesy of my late father. I braced myself for the while trying to imagine what my fate would be, if the goddess found out I was responsible for the death of two Ebie initiates. Chief Jafar Randall’s invisible double walked out of his compound, and climbed onto a haulage truck which carried LG Electronics. Few minutes later, he was about to enter into the Heaven On Earth Church compound, when he started vapourizing.

Irene After breakfast, they don’t let me lift a finger. Cassian gathers the tray, Rowan teases that I’ll grow spoiled, and Kevin just hums as he sets things back in order. Elias is the one who says, “There’s something we should show you.” I hesitate. “What is it?” He glances at the others. “The last room of the last woman in our pack. It hasn’t been touched for over a hundred years.” The words sink into me like cold water. Still, I nod. “Show me.”

Luna's Last Oath

Luna's Last Oath

Every head turned. The wolf who had spoken—Jareth, a grizzled veteran from the southern patrols stood with his arms crossed over his chest, his chin tipped high. His scarred jaw trembled with the force of his words. “She won the fight, sure. But a fight is not a legacy. A fight does not make a leader.” The murmurs erupted like dry tinder catching flame. “She’s too young—” “Brian held the line longer—” “Silas should be—”
