Nola said with a wince. My eye ticked at the idea that my beautiful Flameheart could be any kind of Destroyer. “Next.” “Oh, the last one is so exciting. So exciting! You’re never going to believe it, it’s so exciting!” Nola grinned. “Okay,” I said, stopping myself from barking at her to just spit it out. “What’s the last one?” “Fire Mage!” Nola bounced right out of her seat and stood over my desk. “Isn’t that exciting?! Wouldn’t that be cool?!”

He lifted his hand and hit it on their arms, separating the old man from his friend. Then, he waited for what was coming. The old man lifted his eyes at once, they were like boiling lava. "You have to leave at once!" He ordered. "I cannot help you anymore." Yolanda looked at him in surprise. "But you were not done with telling me what you saw." The old man heaved a slow breath. It seemed whatever had transpired a few moments ago had drained him of his strength. "Well, I'm done, Yolanda. There are some very dark spirits at work in your life that I don't want to mess with. If you really want to help yourself, find the woman at the red door. She holds the answers you seek."

It was unbearably shameful for him so he couldn't take it. Blinded by rage and shame, he took out the silver dragger, a special weapon he had made to kill Deus with, and raised it high in the air, ready to plug it in his heart. Luna saw it coming before Deus did. Wanting to protect her love, she came in between the dragger and Deus. That's when she felt it. The silver dagger piercing her heart and splitting it into two. She turned around and fell right in Deus's arm. She wanted to talk to him and tell him how much she loved him one last time. However, no words came out. And just like that, she stopped breathing. The last face she saw before closing her eyes was the terrified face of Deus.

And so Olive, Chelsea, and the less talkative Rosie spent the day watching one Disney movie to another. Rosie and Olive were having the time of their lives, Chelsea, however, was still stuck on how her friend had so casually used wordless magic. It wasn't that she was sad or mad her friend could, she was rather worried because witches at her age could not activate their ability to use wordless magic until after their Coming of Age Ceremony. She didn't think Olive even noticed it, meaning that she had been doing so for a long time.

Levy dodged in time just as Logan pounced at the two dark mages, he snapped his jaw while biting one mage in half and crushed the other to his death. The last one tried to escape but Logan did not give him a chance, Levy summoned her magic powers and then caused the ground to rise in the air, it wrapped around the dark mage like an egg-shaped cocoon before Levy made a crushing gesture with her hand causing the mage to be squished in the pulp.

I hook my finger under her chin so I can look into her eyes, and slowlybrought my lips to hers. She gasped as soon as our lips touched with an explosion of sparks between us.

After a moment of deliberation, the High Mage raised his hand, silencing the whispers. "We recognize the direness of your situation, Rey and Luna. The Mages of Light have long upheld their duty to safeguard the realm, and we shall not waver in this hour of need," the High Mage declared. "We will lend our powers and knowledge to your cause. But be warned, the forces of darkness grow stronger with each passing day. The path ahead is fraught with danger, and the sacrifices will be great."

I replied as Orel jerked in surprise. “They have twice as much as we do Themis, surely you cannot be right.” “Oh I am right, we have something that they don’t.” I winked at him. “And what is that?” Orel asked me with skeptism written all over his tone. “The most powerful legion of the last magic kingdom that survived the fall of that era and their queen.” I replied as Orel looked at me with a thoughtful look on his face before nodding. “Okay, let’s end this war.” Orel made to stand but I covered his hand with mine.

The last words were spoken with particular hatred, and her crooked, decrepit hands, with long grotesque nails, clenched the staff even tighter from under her tattered rags. “You won’t be able to defeat me, and we both know it,” the mage replied haughtily and arrogantly. “And you never could… Lavi.” At the last word, it was as if everything around froze, and the old woman threw back her hood, revealing herself in all her terrible glory. “I’ll still try!” the witch roared.
