My death day had finally arrived. As a workaholic who never took a day off, even on a holiday like New Year’s, Daniel still left for the law firm early in the morning. Before he left, he kissed my forehead. “Wait for me tonight.” I smiled as I watched him go. I stood there until the black Bentley disappeared at the end of the road. I was the only one in the villa. I had sent the housekeeper away. I locked the door and drew all the curtains. I went to the bathroom and turned on the water.

He was sitting there, reading a letter. Stephen felt stunned for a moment. Snow had also left him a letter. It was a final goodbye. “Mr. Rivers.” Liam stepped up and lowered his head. “Stephen found out that Snow was buried in her hometown and insists on knowing where her hometown is.” Ethan put down the letter and looked at Stephen. Stephen snapped out of his senses and walked up to Ethan in a daze, staring at him. “What is this song supposed to mean?” Ethan smiled faintly. “It’s a new song I wrote, called ‘No Other Way’. What do you think about it?”

I panicked and tried to snatch the book but Enzo quickly held my hand and smirked before letting me go as he walked towards Jade's. Jade cleared her throat and stood up straight with a devilish grin on her face. "Okay here it is, listen guys. January 17, 3:45 p.m. I haven't seen him around, he wasn't with his friends either. I don't know where he was, I hope to see him before this day end, my energizer..." Jade even soften her voice reading my diary. "Aw! Our little Charlie here is in love! What if you read more!" Mae joined as they started to cheer. "More! More! More! More!"

Belle's POV Our plane landed at St Louis Airport and we waited while our bags were been cleared. Christian and I had tried to live in peace during the last few days. I made sure not to mention his cheating behavior the other day and stayed away from any sensitive topic that could bring out the arguments from us. The last few days had been good and I wished it would continue to be so throughout the course of our marriage. "We are done." He called to me. "Let's go."

For a moment, silence reigned, broken only by the distant tolling of the cathedral bells. Adriana touched his shoulder. “He was the last one, wasn’t he?” Damian looked up at her. “No,” he said quietly. “He was the last shadow. Outside, loud music blasted—a tradition when our group of friends gathered. I screamed and shouted, but no one heard my cries. As he smeared sticky saliva over my face, all I could do was struggle to grab a lamp from the bedside desk, smashing it over his head. Then, I made a run for it, stumbling towards the window. Jeremy was like a monster, relentlessly chasing me after he recovered. I threw myself over the windowsill, and as I hit the ground, I clearly felt warm blood gushing out between my legs, as if a life was slipping away.

I forgot where we were. “Are you okay?” Sean peeped on the entryway and looked at me. His singing stopped and was replaced by my loud heartbeat. Blush mode time.
