Curse of the Wolves

Curse of the Wolves

Some glowed as Lina’s had, while others pulsated with darkness, or shot off sparks that danced silently in the air. The Librarian’s were everywhere, on every level of the library. I wanted to ask Orion what he thought their official jobs were, because they didn’t seem to be doing much other than prowling the stacks with their creepy, elongated limbs and their ominous click, click, clicking. If it were up to me I’d fire them all. Literally, I’d set them all on fire. As we reached what had to be level fifty or sixty down, I noticed many of the stacks and shelves were charred. Everything seemed to be covered in a thick layer of soot. The scent changed from that of musk and dust to the remnants

Absolutely love this book, couldn't put it down. I've honestly read it more than once haha. Any chance I can buy it in paperback? This is a great book, give it a chance you won't be disappointed. Love the characters, love the book, love it!

I love this story so much that I kept reading, not realizing it was already four in the morning, and I had to wake up to take my kids to school at 7. every story by this author is beautifully written and addictive, but I love the humor and the strong female character in this story the most.

Playboy's Karma (English)

Playboy's Karma (English)

" Dark Louiz shouted at me. I was about to speak when we heard someone speaking behind us. It came from a woman. We turned on the back and we saw the librarian staring at us angrily. "What are you doing here?! Why are you two so noisy?! Have you forgotten that this is a library, huh?! This is a place for all the students to study!" She blurted out. Dark Louiz and I stared at each other. I felt nervous and I don't know what to say to our librarian. She caught us arguing some nonsense stuff. "W-we're just having so—" "What?! You're just having what? Answer me, please!" Our librarian snapped. "Ma'am, let me explain first," I said.

Hiding the Alpha's Heir

Hiding the Alpha's Heir

I said and quietly rushed to him so I could help him put the books on the table. I felt the librarian's presence behind me and heard her gasp when she got to know what books Sander took. Even I was surprised at the certain topics Sander took. The books contained economics, political management, and social and cultural aspects. "My word..." Clariscia spoke. Her astonished tone was enough that she was impressed with my son. "Child, are you certain that you are going to read them?" Sander looked up and tilted his head in confusion. "Her name is Clariscia. She's the librarian, sweetheart. She takes care of the books here," I introduced.

Rebirth of the Luckiest Failure

Rebirth of the Luckiest Failure

he asked. The Librarian picked up the book and turned it over once in his hands. "Since the duel," he said. Kael frowned. "Which duel?" he asked. "The one that started the attention shift," the Librarian said. "Not the first duel, but the second one." Kael stared at him and narrowed things down, which in this academy still left far too many possibilities. He left the library with the uncomfortable sense that the ceiling was slightly lower than usual. Not literally, just in the way that came from being noticed by people who were themselves trying not to be noticed.

THE WRONG VOW, MY PERFECT ALPHA

THE WRONG VOW, MY PERFECT ALPHA

“For training.” I smiled despite myself. “Tell her thank you.” The maid hesitated. “Actually…” “What?” “She said not to thank her.” I frowned. “Why?” “You’ll understand later.” Strange… very strange. That evening, I wandered into the library again, this time not to read but because I wanted silence. I returned yesterday’s books. The librarian smiled nervously. “I found something else you may enjoy.” He placed a slim volume before me. It wasn’t about kings or bloodlines or prophecies. Its title read; Forgotten Women of the First Kingdom.

Liam says. Oh shit. “I’ll be right back” Sebastian says and runs to the hall. Ask if the librarian is this middle aged woman with a grey dress and hair on a bun? Sebastian links me. “Liam, how does the librarian look like?” I ask. “Um, she’s a bit older, I think she was wearing a dress…” Liam ponders. “Yes, she was wearing a grey dress and her hair was in a tight bun” Celine informs me. Yeah love, that’s her. What’s going on?

The Missing Season

The Missing Season

Nancy's assistant quickly gathered everything they could find on Julian. The farther she read, the more horrified she became. Then she reached the part about Julian secretly switching the IVF embryos behind her back. A cold sweat ran down her spine. She tried to stand, but her legs gave out, and she collapsed back onto the couch. If even the child was not hers and Samuel's, then what was left in the Scott family that Samuel wanted to hold on to? A dull ache spread through her chest, making it hard to breathe. Cold sweat covered her body.

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

I demanded, my muscles coiled for a strike. “I am the Librarian,” the man said, his voice a dry whisper. “And you, Thorne, are a very unexpected variable.” “The Harvesters are gone,” I said, stepping closer. “The Seed is destroyed. Whatever you’re waiting for, it’s over.” The Librarian let out a soft, rattling laugh. “Over? No, Alpha. It is merely resetting. You think the Bone City was the only one? You think the First Architects were the only ones who tried to play god with the soil?”

The One Way Ticket

The One Way Ticket

As he walked into the library which had a majestic staircase which curved and veered upwards onto other floors stacked with books, like a toothpick with lots of grilled pork attached to it. “You have to drop your bags over - there,” the chief librarian - a fat woman who found it hard to breath and spoke through her nose said. “We appreciate bibliophiles and bibliomaniacs but not thieves.” Gerey stuttered for a second. How was he going to smuggle Jeyrin in. Little did he know that...

My Vampire Professor

“It seems you hold back a lot. Like you are afraid of upsetting your audience. Leave that mindset behind and don’t worry about what others think. The right ones will fall in line and love what you have to say—” “I’m sorry, Professor,” the librarian said as she approached us. She was kind with warm brown eyes and long brown hair that she had tied in a low ponytail. “But I’m afraid I’m just about to close for the evening. But you can return tomorrow.” “We were just finishing up,” Joseph said to her, returning her smile. “We won’t be much longer.” She nodded and went back to her desk to finish her end-of-the-day paperwork. I started to close my notebook and shuffled my papers into the folder be
