The Lost Element Novels & Stories

“About me.” He turned to face me fully now. “Do you know why I can control all the elements?” I hesitated. “Because you’re… special?” A faint smile flickered across his lips. “That’s what everyone says.” He shook his head slowly. “It’s true. But it’s not the whole truth.” He leaned back against the tree trunk. “In every generation,” he explained, “there’s one elemental born with absolute authority over the spectrum. Fire, water, air, earth—everything in between. We call them the Primarch Elemental.”

My own anger, the smoldering rage that had been my constant companion for so long, began to cool. But amidst all this progress, there was one loss I couldn’t seem to make peace with: my fire was gone. The destruction of the Lunaris Stone had released a wave of energy that neutralized all elemental abilities within a mile radius. The scientists studying the phenomenon believed the effect was permanent, possibly even genetic. Considering the fact that my stepmother had collected so many of the world’s elementals in one place, it was likely the gene that had been wiped out in a single moment. For most of the rescued elementals, this was a blessing. They had been abducted and imprisoned because

I told them not to touch the Grimoire. "Who activated the third element?" I asked the group. "No one, we were all watching some telly when the book flew off the bookshelf on its own, I picked it up and the house started to shake, I gave the Grimoire to Esmay." Mason said. "This is crazy, it gets worse with every element. We are left with one Element, water and I think that we should think about going somewhere else." Tabitha said. "What do you mean?" Kathryn asked

"Lost blood? Where are we going to find that?" "It's not that, it's a her. Tonight, call a meeting with the other pack members. For us to be able to live the way we want and also to be able to shapeshift to a wolf even when it's bright, we need to sacrifice the lost blood" he spoke softly, looking around. "Yes Alpha" Dean bowed his head. Elon came across a bar. He stared at it, wanting to go back inside. "Let's go back to the mansion" he said.

"Power of that magnitude, fully manifested all at once... no mortal body can contain it. Not without the fifth element to balance it." "Which we still haven't found," I said bitterly. We'd spent the past year searching. Every ancient text, every legend, every scrap of mythology. But the fifth element remained a mystery. Moon, Shadow, Silver, Free Will. What could possibly balance those four? "We'll find it," Dante said, but I heard the doubt in his voice. That night, after the party ended and Luna was asleep, I stood in her room watching her breathe. One year old. My baby was one year old.

I had never seen anything like this. Unlike the other elements, Life element didn’t have a solid form. Instead, it was a distention of the space. It seemed like a ball of unfathomable origin, just bending time and space. But I could see through it. I didn’t know how to explain it. The element moved eagerly on my palm, dancing around for a few seconds like a preening cat, waiting to attract me. It was playful but not in the same way as Fire. It wasn’t as volatile, but the playfulness had gravity to it. I whispered a thanks for it being with me. It expanded a little in response, enjoying my companionship and the attention I gave it.

Something larger, and far more dangerous. “You have been alive. That was the priority. Now you should not remain outside for so long.” Victor informed him. “I told you I need time.” “And you have it. But it does not mean you are not at risk.” Ethan frowned. “What risk?”. He was met with silence. “If I am at risk, I should at least know what kind of risk it is.” “The same family that destroyed you is searching for any surviving heir.” Cold sweat broke out on Ethan's forehead. “And they don’t know I exist?”

What's the secret you wanted to tell me? Lyra's smile faltered, replaced by a sorrowful expression. "What's wrong?" I asked, concern etching my voice. Lyra's words dropped like a bombshell: "Do you know that you'll lose your mortality as you unlock your power?" My heart skipped a beat, freezing in my chest. "What do you mean?" I stammered, my mind reeling. Lyra's gaze filled with compassion. "As an elemental guardian, you'll become immortal, but at a steep cost. Your humanity will fade, and you'll be bound to the elements forever."

I would protect my master to death until we could return safely back to our kingdom. Speaking of returning, Elvon finally lost his magic the other day. He was trying to cast a spell on a bowl of water to find the whereabouts of the princess but it didn't work anymore. His basic skills like making things appear or float in the air no longer worked and he was deeply saddened by that. I felt sorry for him. This was my fault but if we didn't get here on time, the prince would have been dead by now. So these days, Elvon was still trying to find ways to recover his magic so he could get us back safely to the kingdom. "Anyway," Genebeth went on, interrupting my thoughts. "I should get going. I stil
