She was in the most beautiful garden she had ever seen. It was full of flowers in all the colours she could think of. She then heard a high pitched squeal and suddenly was surrounded by bright white arms. “I can’t believe you are finally here, we missed you so much Celestial!” “Alizeh backoff, she has no memories of who she is and she needs to breath. As the air element you should know this!” a male voice said.

Zeda blinked twice, trying to pull herself back from her thoughts of Lucian. “Debtor?” Vyr questioned, looking from Torvin to Zeda. Torvin flashed his cocky smile and winked at Zeda, who couldn’t help a small, reluctant smile of her own. “Remind me not to get on your bad side, Zeda,” Rylan said, watching the video for a second time. “Like... damn,” Draven drawled. “But how is this possible?” Ava asked, looking perplexed. “A four-elemental Mage? She’s only in her first year.”

The seam in the wall widened slightly, and the chamber floor trembled, causing everyone to adjust their footing. Toven looked around and asked, "Was that supposed to happen?" He looked at me somewhat taken aback; his arms crossed while he gave me a raised brow. “I thought you already attended to this problem yesterday? It is unlike you to put a matter like this for another day.”

The woman looked past him, to Ashling. “You found them.” Ashling didn’t smile, but she nodded once. “They heard the call.” The elemental stepped fully from the mist and the stone. Her bare feet touched the moss without sound. “I am called Thalen,” she said at last, “born of water, bound by storm. What would you ask of me, fire-marked prince?” Nyxar stiffened. “I’m no prince.”

I asked. Elara hesitated, wringing the edge of her tattered shawl between her fingers. “Beyond the town’s reach, where the earth rises to whisper to the sky. An unseen mouth yawns wide, swallowing all who enter. A place untouched by light, where echoes have no end and the air is thick with the whispers of the lost.” My gaze darted to Han, the confusion in his eyes mirroring mine. “Can you please elaborate?” I asked. Elara opened her mouth to speak, but before a single word could escape her lips, her body jerked violently as if struck by an invisible force. Her eyes rolled back, and she let out a strangled gasp before collapsing to the floor.

Celia's breath caught again. A few zombies crawled out from the decorative planters nearby. Hayley flicked her wrist. The ground suddenly sank, and vines burst out from the flower beds, wrapping tightly around the zombies. Earth. Wood. In the air, a metal dagger formed and hovered. With a small motion of her hand, it shot forward and pierced straight through a zombie's skull. Celia, Preston, Douglas, and even Jocelyn all froze. Metal, wood, water, fire, earth. We are taught that water and fire elements are the most superior but still keeping in mind that we need to be kind, as elemental users are now few in population, so I can't let Zale kill an elemental user, especially in their territory.
