MANDY'S POV The preparations for the mating ball were underway. Seven had tasked Dorcas to see to it that everything is on point. Our father was staying out of the way or was he still nursing a bruised ego after mother made a show of him? It was the news going around the pack mansion that the Luna disgraced the Alpha.It was however not news that mother made a show of everyone who dared her. I however didn't understand the pack servants and their inability to take simple instructions not to gossip.

Along with Queen, other mates also did not want to leave their pack. So by combining all their packs, they created the biggest pack of which Luna was the queen. But as soon as Queen gets all the six packs together, everything goes out of Queen's hands and goes into the hands of her mates. Queen's five mates had already made it clear to her that none of them wanted to have a relationship with Queen like normal mates.

She pulls out of my arms, moving away from me and making me feel even more concerned. “I was worried about losing the tether to my pack, my old pack. As he concluded his words, he walked me back to the thrones and we took our seats. "You don't have to worry about anything else, I will deliver Crescent Moon Pack to you," I said teasingly and touched his nose tip as a smirk crossed his face.

Someone’s phone was blaring out what sounded like a live broadcast, and one with a voice that was all too familiar. “Yes, it’s horrible, but I’m afraid it’s true!” Louisa said passionately. “My sister, the soon-to-be Luna of Eclipse Pack, is a wolf who can’t shift!”

I was always exposed to dangers of the night but the pack did not care. My pack was called the Luna pack, and Luna meant the moon goddess. The pack was named after the goddess of the moon. It's territory was deep in the woods of a small town called Margery, named after the founder. The territory was marked by small trees which had the Luna insignia carved on them. The trees surrounded the entire territory so when a member of an opposing pack saw it, they would know that it's the Luna pack and they should not trespass.
