Donovan. How close is his birthday? "My grandmother told me the same." The other girl replies in all smiles as she measures a dress with her body, standing in front of the full frame mirror. "I heard he rejected his mate. You know what that means for us?" I lift my brow a little at her words. Rejected his mate? Where did she ever hear that absurd lie from?

He doesn't need your approval! "I will send you to Eclipse Castle. The Lycan King is fond of you after watching your match. You will leave there as long as he wants," he uttered. "There's no guarantee that you will be coming back here…alive." My eyes widened when he mentioned the Lycan King who personified arrogance, virility and power. Everyone was afraid of him. In his prime years, he killed thousand Alphas. It was a miracle that he was the one who offered a truce but of course, all of us were still at his mercy.

She threw away her empty glass and crossed her arms over her chest as she stared at the lycan king from a distance. Aphrodite told the pairer, "If she wants to be queen of the Lycans, she'll have to get used to this." Fowol's frown got even worse when she heard what she said, but she didn't say anything else. When she turned around, she saw the Lycan bringing the she-wolf into the tent. She heard an arrow shoot out of a bow next to her, which made her turn around and see Eros shoot an arrow at Lucian. This made the frown on her face even worse.

Ava snorted, "I'd say she isn't doing a very good job. And if you can sell slaves, you can sell vampires too. You were about to sell fifty women and your daughter to King Xillian." His face turned icy yet remorseful. "I did not mean to be rude, apologies." Ava murmured. "But I mean it when I said I want Adira. It's the deal I said or our deal is off and I'll find a way to take my money back from King Xillian. And you can find a way to pay him four million dollars." I was terrified of the possibility that they would have a fight. But luckily, the Beta intervened. "We need to welcome Alpha Kristian and Luna Ava. " The Lycan king smirked again, " Here comes another couple. " He turned to me, " Celine, take rest. I will meet you in the evening. "

With a Lycan, no one wanted to imagine it. So they stayed down, eyes darting, waiting for someone else to decide. The Lycan king did not look stressed. He looked, if anything, less interested than he had a moment ago, as though Phillip’s outburst were a fly he could not be bothered to swat. He looked down at me instead. “Aviana.” My name in his mouth was low and unhurried. “Do you mind being my mate?” I looked at Phillip. I made myself look at him properly, for what I knew would be the last time. The man whose scent I had begged the moon for. The man who had cleaned my wounds in the dark and let me believe his gentleness meant something.
