Alien Mate

Alien Mate

Alone for the first time since their arrival, Diana prowled her new home looking for something to do, but she couldn't even find one speck of dust to clean. Their robot maid had already done all the work. Sighing, Diana dropped onto the cushioned couch that had arrived yesterday and now held a position of prominence in their living room-and a fond memory that still made her blush. Now what do I do with myself? I wonder if they've got any Earth books I can read. But then Diana remembered something the robot hadn't done yet, the front yard.

Mated (Mortal, Book Two)

Mated (Mortal, Book Two)

A few turns later, I'm standing in a grand room, its ceiling twinkling with starlight, a huge golden door at its center. This is it. This is the Dyad Marketplace. I approach the door, and it slowly opens with a creak. A huge room—no, more like an underground arena—stretches out before me. It's filled with merchants and shoppers, a bustling center of activity. I take a deep breath and step inside. The smell of exotic spices and perfumes fills the air, and a cacophony of noises assaults my ears. Everywhere I look, there are strange creatures and objects.

Immune (Alpha, Human & BloodHound romance)

Immune (Alpha, Human & BloodHound romance)

He asked after a moment, his blue eyes straying from Madeleine for just a second, to give the strange and incredibly hot chick a quick glance, observing her as she aimlessly trudged around through his living room. “You wouldn’t believe me if I told you,” His interest only piqued at the sound of Madeleine’s reply, his brow raising as he looked back at her. “Try me,” She quickly donned down the glass of vodka first, the young male mimicking her actions as he closely watched her, eager for an answer. “She’s actually a martian,” “What? What the fuck!”

Claimed By The Seven Alpha Daddies

Claimed By The Seven Alpha Daddies

I point out to the screen. "What's that?" Dustin asks. "Look at that snake!" I point my finger to a shiny blue snake which is diving past us, its length being what I can't tell. Dustin smiles with his lips closed. "That's when you see that the aquatic world on Mars is much more beautiful than that of earth. The wide variety of beautiful animals." I blush, pulling myself into his arms. I rest on his bosoms. Here I feel peace, sniff more of the oxygen and the aura surrounding us.

MY CRUEL PROTECTOR

MY CRUEL PROTECTOR

Something older. "Gianna," Nevan said, standing in the doorway of the terrace. He was forty-five now, his hair more salt than pepper, but his frame was still the solid, unyielding iron of the Shield. He held a short-wave radio in his hand, the static coming from it sounding like a death rattle. "What is it?" I asked, setting down my shears. My hands were stained with the green oil of the harvest. "The Mars Colony," Nevan said, his voice a low, jagged rasp. "The archaeologists at the Chryse Planitia site. They found it, Gianna. They found the 'Prime Directive.'"

The Twins He Never Knew

The Twins He Never Knew

erupted from the terminal—not as a command, but as a Rain. The First Rain of Mars Outside the vault, the sky of Mars didn't turn blue. it turned a deep, healthy purple. The "Red Verse" hit the atmosphere, and for the first time in three billion years, water began to condense in the thin air. A warm, mineral-rich rain began to fall across the Valles Marineris. Kael collapsed on the floor of the vault, his grey skin now pale and human once again. He was no longer "Muted." He was just... a man.

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

I don't see a thing. I try a few times as I take a few cautious steps but get no results. Sighing in frustration, I continue to walk and listen for any sounds. It's eerily quiet. Not even a breeze stirs in the air. I'm walking for what I assume are minutes when it happens. A loud roar reverberates throughout the area. It sounds like a lion's roar but deeper. Suddenly, the air stirs around me with a loud whoosh. I look around, pulling my flailing hair from my face; I struggle against the wind. Fragments begin to fly around me, hitting me in the arms and legs. I cry out in pain when my skin begins to burn in every part the debris touches. That's when the darkness wanes, and an oddly colored su

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Midwinter Town: A Novella

“It's a lot ask.” “I know.” “There is nothing else that we can do.” “True. We will prepare the boats.” The rain continued to fall. In the city, no one knew that one-half of the Lamayi had gone in pursuit of the Targars. From the tower of the town hall the sentinel only perceived that a part of the wagons had been dragged into the forest; but it was thought that the Lamayi were preparing an ambush--a view taken by the Mart engineer also. Meanwhile, the Koschevoi’s words proved not unfounded, for a scarcity of provisions arose in the city. Anton Mikhailovich was walking down the street.

My Sister's Keeper

My Sister's Keeper

I doubted that I could have done it. I lay in Sydney’s arms staring at that green glow on the ceiling until I began to wonder about the glow itself and realized it was coming from a tiny light on Martha’s laptop computer. I pressed the switch on the arm of her bed and raised the head high enough for me to read without awakening Sydney. Lifting the lid on the laptop, I found that it was on and that Martha had been working last on her novel. There were now one hundred seventy-three pages. I pulled the computer stand closer to me, shifted back to the beginning of the story, and began reading.

The Alpha King's Hated Slave

The Alpha King's Hated Slave

Just as my fingers grazed the leather-bound cover, the light vanished, leaving us in darkness. Martins, his eyes still covered, asked hesitantly, "Is it over now?" I chuckled, turning the book over in my hands. "Nothing happened, Martins. You can open your eyes." He slowly lowered his hands and walked towards me, his face a mixture of curiosity and relief. "Are you sure?" I nodded, flipping through the pages of the journal. To our astonishment, the text inside was written in a glowing ancient script that neither of us could read. "I can't make heads or tails of this," I said, frowning.
