Divorce Me? Get on Your Knees First

Divorce Me? Get on Your Knees First

"I should be the one splashing wine here. Back then, when you were kneeling outside the Miller residence, begging my parents to take you in, you weren't so cocky. "You cried and swore you'd repay me for the rest of your life, but now, you stole my wife—your niece. Is this how you repay me?" For a brief second, the room fell silent. Then, an even louder laughter erupted. "Wait. The Millers? You've got to be kidding. A broke nobody pretending to be the heir of the richest family in the country. He probably heard the real heir rarely stayed in the country and thought he could bluff his way through."

I Never Regretted Leaving You

I Never Regretted Leaving You

Sir Miller coughed up blood in anger and exclaimed, "How could you be so malicious?" Lady Miller laughed and said, "Malicious? Compared to the crazy things you, a dandy young master, have done, I am not malicious at all." "I have already received my retribution. But what about you? Your retribution has not yet arrived. Aren't you afraid? The principles of heaven are clear, and retribution will not be spared," Sir Miller roared angrily.

i think the author needs to focus on finishing books rather than leaving lots of unfinished ones that leave your readers hanging and we do not want that. you would gain more followers and readers if you can concentrate on one story at a time and finish each book. more ongoing than completed books
SillyRabbit
This is one heck of a story. It has romance, betrayal, revenge, time travel, robots and tons of dramatic twists and turns. There are some translation mistakes here and there but overall, it’s well written.

For that one person who had promised not to let her suffer! Then their eyes met at a single trace. A glint of hope flashed through her eyes and all she did was release a faint smile. He was seated at the back with a face cap on but he averted his gaze as soon as their eyes met and pulled his hat over his face properly. She did not read meaning into it. She thought he was only trying to keep his identity hidden, with how influential he is. She quickly turned to the judge and Said.. "I plead guilty your honour. I, Althea Grace Miller attempted to kill Katie Rolland!" She admitted confidently and the protesters did not stop asking that she be punished severely.

The Substitute's pain

The Substitute's pain

Jane could only stare at the witch in front of her as her face held pain and suffering. “We are not talking of any small push-over family here, we are speaking of The Millers as in the owners of Miller Corporation! The same family that chose to marry a low life like you and also make you the young madam of the Miller home, and you dare call their heir a cripple”

FERAL LOVE WITH A WEREWOLF

FERAL LOVE WITH A WEREWOLF

Now, in the clear light of day, he saw the faces of those who questioned his presence, and he felt compelled to explain himself. A woman in the crowd, her expression a mix of concern and skepticism, spoke up. "Who are you, and what brings you to Gaza?" Miller, his voice calm and measured, began to recount his story. "I understand your apprehension, and I apologize for any disturbance my presence may have caused. My name is Miller, and I found myself in Gaza due to a series of events beyond my control." The crowd listened attentively as Miller continued, hoping to shed light on the circumstances that had brought him to their city. "I was in a place of great danger, pursued by forces that mean

HIS MISTRESS, MY REVENGE

HIS MISTRESS, MY REVENGE

The kind of thing that required no effort to make a statement because it had been cut by someone who understood that the statement was already in the woman wearing it. I arrived at eight. The venue was the kind of place old money used when it wanted to celebrate itself, high ceilings, soft lighting, the particular hum of three hundred people who all knew each other well enough to be comfortable and well enough to be watching. James Harrington, seventy-two and sharp as he had ever been, found me within five minutes of my arrival, shook my hand with both of his and said he had been following the Lumière story for three years and that tonight felt like the right moment to say so publicly.

His Mistress

His Mistress

55 Come Emily’s POV “Don’t even start.” I glaringly look at Arthur. He seem to be enjoying this but I don’t I hate that I have to speak up like that, isn’t that suppose to be common sense? And how can a person be like that? I’m not even like that when I was being a mistress to Arthur but no, she’s not a mistress and I surely hope she won’t be because I don’t know what I will do if she will be.

let's Stay Lonely Together

let's Stay Lonely Together

Mr Miller discarded what the doctor said and demanded for answers. "What happened?" I could hear the pain in his voice. I watched as tears stained his eyes. He clenched his fists and shook his head in anger. He felt it too, the heart wrenching pain coming from the left side of his chest. He looked so indifferent as he got lost in thought. He was grinding his teeth and clenching and unclenching his fists as if at any moment he would explode. He broke away from his thoughts and looked right at me. That was the first time he noticed me standing there. I wanted the ground to swallow me there and then. As though he noticed my fear, Mr Miller’s gaze softened and he started to look helpless and def
