Bite me, Twice

Bite me, Twice

I replied, "I will be able to see all your memories, feelings, and thoughts. Everything that you have experienced in your life, these past years, even those things that you hope will stay locked away deep in your mind. All of those things, they would become part of me and it is something that I do not want to have." "We heard stories about a man that could do unbelievable things, miracles. He talked about a long dead civilization that discovered strange things," you said, "and he carried a strange book with him at all times." "I knew it was you," Esmeralda said between soft sobs. "You figured it out," you said, "everything that book said turned out to be real?"

REALM OF THE MYSTICS

REALM OF THE MYSTICS

" Joe asked from behind her. "It's a birthmark borne by children who were touched by a goddess from another realm," She said casually. "Wait, what?" Kurt asked in disbelief. "Yeah, I read about it in a book," She said. "What book?" Joe asked. Lydia stopped walking and took off her backpack. She opened it and took out a large book and handed it to Joe. "This book..." She said. The book was large and on the cover, it had the word "TROLEYADIA" on it in large font.

Five Mates? The Alpha Brothers' Golden-Eyed Luna

Five Mates? The Alpha Brothers' Golden-Eyed Luna

The next day, three hours after training with Miracle and my mates, I was laying down on the bed when my phone rang. It was Avilla, she said she'd be coming over with the book. Within thirty minutes later, I got a text from her that she was outside waiting with Meg. I ran down stairs, smiled at the duo, before leading them to my room. “This is it girl,” Avilla handed the book to me. It was a thick covered book, old looking and had a bit of dusk, but without a tear. I skimmed through it immediately, pursing my lips as my eyes ran across the words.

Loved this book! The characters are so real and you want everything to work out for them. The author has a wonderful way of making them come to life for you. And if you’re like me I can picture them and the scenes she creates in my mind. I have read this book from front to back at least 4 times!

The Return of Luna

The Return of Luna

It was Miracle. Emma looked at her coldly and said, "Why is it you?" Miracle bowed her head, trembling. "Omega Olivia, what's the meaning of this?" Emma raised an eyebrow. Omega Olivia smiled and said, "Miss, can you recognize that maid? She's Miracle from Omega Lanka." Emma gazed at Omega Olivia calmly, her expression seemingly smiling yet not quite. "Stepping out in the middle of the night, unable to sleep, and visiting the residence of Omega Olivia. What were you thinking?"

The Alpha Who Betrayed Me

The Alpha Who Betrayed Me

I had heard about such a book but I never knew the name was Holy Grail. Yes! A book where you could cast spells no matter who you were or what you were. I was exactly the kind of book I needed. "The mission you are about to embark on is a death threat to your baby. You need every means possible to keep your alive so your baby could be born. This book is the key to your unanswered prayer from the Moon goddess. Take it" Mary pushed the book to me and tapped on it gently. I could have sworn I heard her crying. She was almost breaking down with the book in my arms. I felt so grateful.

HE LEFT ME FOR MY STEPSISTER, I MOVED ON TO THE NEXT

HE LEFT ME FOR MY STEPSISTER, I MOVED ON TO THE NEXT

No one knew how to speak into a miracle. Marianne cupped the baby’s cheeks with shaking hands, staring at her daughter like she was something holy. The kind of miracle you only witness once in a lifetime. She didn’t yet know how close she came to losing her. That truth came from the least expected voice. A small figure walked forward. Tiny, skinny Mira—hands clasped behind her back, her eyes still swollen from crying earlier. She stopped right beside Marianne and tugged her arm gently. “Auntie…” Mira whispered.

First Bite

First Bite

Time spiraled, woven into a tapestry of memories, and the attic transformed into a realm of softer, stranger realities. What unfolded before her was a ritual chamber unlike any she had ever witnessed, rich with an age-old energy that pulsed through the air. Flames flickered grandly in iron braziers, casting warm light upon mirrored glyphs engraved into the cold stone floor, each rune alive with potent magic. At the heart of the chamber stood Mirabella Jordan, wreathed in a surreal halo of white fire, her presence commanding and serene. Her hair, intricately braided in ceremonial coils, cascaded down her back in a display of elegance, while her hands hovered steadily above an open Book—the sa

The Rejected Alpha

The Rejected Alpha

ALARIC Moon let go of me the moment Miracle shifted. It was all weird. So strange. So different. So impossible. I was short of words. What the hell just happened? I witnessed it. Miracle was all wrapped up in the fire, raised from the ground, howling at the Moon. The next moment, she was eating it. She just ate that shit or whatsoever it was, to begin with. The most insane thing about all this mess was that she was fine. Not even a single burn. Not a single scratch. She looked like a newly polished mirror. Was I even saying it right? My words and sentences appeared jumbled. Well, not my fault. It was the situation.

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

a woman murmurs. She’s not talking about what just happened when she says Miracles. She’s talking about people—very special people. Radar is a Miracle. So am I. There are seven of us in the District. The name Miracle has nothing to do with Powers, though every Miracle but me has one. The name was given long before any Powers evidenced themselves. It was bestowed upon us at birth. Indeed, our births WERE the Miracle. We live in a world of dichotomies. There are the Befores and the Afters, there’s Inside and Outside, and most scarily, Here and There. There’s no dichotomy for the Miracles, though. We are singular, unique.
