Mother Agnes says. "Okay," I say. I follow Mother Agnes to another room. Libby follows up, bringing the book. There is a table with candles and a black and purple cloth resting neatly on it. The three of us sit at the table. Libby scoots the book to Mother Agnes for her to open. Mother Agnes says something over the book in almost a whisper. The book opens. The book seems to take on a life of its own. The page race from the beginning to the end and then settle on the first page.

"What happened? Are you alright, Mira?" "Yes, I will be once you are here. How far away are you?" "I will be there in thirty minutes," he said to me. "Make it twenty." "Whatever," he answered. The link cut. In twenty-five minutes, he arrived in all his glory. "What was the emergency, Mira?" "Here," I said to him, pointing at the burnt corpse on the floor. "Ahhhhhh! What the fuck did you do, Mira? What happened to him?"

She wasn't as agile as the three young ladies still engrossed in the book a few feet away from her. Samira, Teagan and Alora were through with the book. It was only a two page book. They saw where Mirabel was and quickly went to meet her. "Seriously, I was expecting 30 pages from the book but only saw just 2, it didn't talk about the gate you talked about or the demon in my house." Samira said, showing her displeasure of the book she had high hopes on. "It didn't mention any sort of the Millennium Wolf and if it truly put them to sleep, like in a dead state." she added.

Once the magus returns, there will be no hiding the fact that not only is my belly no longer round, but that my nest has a new little inhabitant. “What am I going to do with you, little one?” I sigh, placing a hand on her still-warm shell. She blinks at me. Only the light isn’t the dim glimmer I experienced with her siblings; it’s more of a bright flash that makes me blink as I see a dark afterimage. “You have quite the spark, Miracle,” I say, the name I’ve already given her in my heart, “But my eyes are sensitive. Maybe less glow next time.”

After Mira left without ever reaching out to me or her family members, no other woman ever had the same effect on me. Only Mira made my mind and soul roam like there was a burning bush. There was something about this lady that I can’t even remember her name. Each time I tried, the only name that came to my head was Mira. I went back to the supermarket and began my search. It was a big supermarket and I threw my hand in my hair in confusion, searching everywhere for her would take eternity. I sighed in frustration as I guessed the fourth roll. I walked down without any sign of her around.

To my utter shock, Miracle started crying and I switched our places so I could look at her better. "Why are you crying? Please don't cry." I panicked while trying to comfort her. I pulled out my handkerchief and gave it to her. Miracle continued to cry while smiling at the same time. I was confused and I thought it was part of the side effect. My eyes widened when she suddenly wrapped her arms around my neck, pulling me down and hugging me tight as she lay on the ground. "Miracle?" I stopped myself from reciprocating the action, unsure how to properly react. It took everything in me not to take her in my arms.

Erika couldn't answer what Lei said to the two of them, telling them the real story of the war that had killed Erika's parents. "My niece will help you get over what you're going through with your daddy before I help you awaken your powers. I hope that in time you'll accept who you really are. I know that won't be easy for you," Lei said, turning the book back to normal and handing it to Erika. Lei said that normal people couldn't read what was in the book because the book she gave him was not ordinary. "That book is only for deities except for my niece and I, so we can read it because we're not ordinary," Lei replied.

Every story has a beginning, some good, some bad, mine has never been a happy one, no matter who, or how I tell it, nobody will believe me. I can't rely on the people in my life, My parents ignore me, or are cruel to me, my friends are unreliable, and aren't trustworthy either. So what happens when I turn 16 years old, and run away from my problems to another world, only to find myself in the same magical world I played make belief in as a kid? With heartbreak at every turn, and a possible new relationship on the horizon, what could possibly go wrong in this world that hasn't happened to me on Earth?!

I'm pure muscle I tell you. "Water, Helen, water!" my father shouts as my mother tosses a bowl of water onto the stove. The fire immediately disperses into hot steam. We all just sort of stand staring and frozen, catching our breaths. It's not really like this is an odd scene, just exhausting. In the Miracle household, this is your typical morning. "Now, we are going to explain to you what are the different Magical Items you need to get for Erica for her to go back to her world!" He opened the book on the table. He looked at the book's contents and then looked at us thoughtfully. "Listen carefully," he ordered us.
