The speed with which the words strikes my ears, at the almost same motion a book came and landed above me. I opened my eyes to look at the mannerless soul who can't handover the book to me instead chooses to throw the book at me like this. To my surprise, there was no one. Reign's POV When everyone left, I went and sat beside William, while he was working. I was caught up in a novel that I started reading four days ago. I put the reading in hold due to the hectic Christmas eve and Christmas days. However, my schedule was back to normal. This book is one of the most captivating I have read yet. It suits any age starting from 16 onwards. It was not smutty, cliche nor too much. It was just immaculate.

I explained as I smiled. “A few decades ago, Micah wrote a book in honors of our mother which had some occult practices and I think it was called ‘The enlightened.’” I said before I got up. “I need to go to the library.” I said as I got up as well as Azreal. “Thank you so much.” I said as I hugged Azreal who froze on my warm greeting. He hugged me back slowly before he relaxed his head on my shoulders. “You are welcome.” He said and I smiled.

Looking around at the semi dusty room, Merlia was left in complete awe. Wonder could not be described by what she was feeling from knowing that this was not just any room, to her it felt precious.
