She wasn't green, blue, or decapitated like the others, she looked like a real woman. "That book might be titled 'NAMES', but it is not a good book. Those five letters stand for something, terrible things. Open that book and you won't love what you will see,"

he asked. “I don’t know….” “You’re definitely not going to find anything online about them, lil girl. Christian keeps that stuff scrubbed.” “No, I know,” I assured him. “It’s not that. I just want to put a name with the monsters, that’s all.” He sighed loudly. “Their names are Giovani and Zabrina,” he said. “Now, have a good night, Cass, and I’ll talk to you later, okay?”

“The better prepared we are for battle, the greater the odds of our succeeding.” “You refer to the vampires as monsters when, technically, you are one as well,” Hank mused. “I am one of many things,” Jasper thoughtfully admitted. “Having spent time amongst all three of what I am, I believe that the vampire is the worst of them. I found a tattered web-strap chaise lounge, positioned it in the shade, and fell onto it. The comic book was called “They Come Out at Night,” and its cover featured some kind of one-eyed bat-like creature swooping down on a scantily-clad woman. I dove in, reading the story about the monster called Popobawa that had been captured in Africa and shipped to the United States. The ship was wrecked in a storm off the coast of North Carolina, smashing the crate that held the beast. It flew to shore and terrorized a small town. I read the whole thing, cover to cover, only to have the story end on a cliffhanger. There must be more of these in the attic. The thought of going up there to find the next

The little boy shook and whimpered, looking at Paul and Ben with eyes wide. “What’s your name, little boy?” Paul asked. “T...T...Tommy.” “How did you get here?” “I dunno.” “Well, where are your parents?” “I dunno.” “Where is everyone else?” “I dunno.” “Did something bad happen downtown? Why is everyone gone?” Tommy shrugged. “So you don’t know anything at all about what is going on?” Tommy thought for a minute. “It’s always dark. And there’s a monster.” “A monster? What kind of monster?” Ben urged.

It was dark, and I couldn’t make out any figure except for six pairs of red eyes glowing in the dark. “Oh, moon goddess! Don’t throw me to the devils. I swear I’ll never curse you again” I beg silently, my gaze fixed on the red eyes. I retreated two steps as the nameless monsters began to move in the open. I commanded them to halt in a quiet voice, hoping it would do the trick. I tell the monsters, "don't get near me or you'll regret it." I had nothing to defend myself with, so I looked silly and sounded foolish.

All I could hope for her to be happy and never come back to this place . I got up from the park bench . The early morning sun didn't help much with the cold either. I smiled at how terrified Belle was of giving her finals . She had clung on the phone call forever to find comfort .It felt good to know that the things that scared her were as simple as that. I picked up my pace to the haunted place I was forced to call home .

"What is your name? If you are interested, you can come to Mythos Academy for testing." I smile, my eyes curving into crescents. "My name is Rea Reed." I look at the dead monster, then back at the angel. "Rea, as in...the Reaper."
