I Forgot I Loved You, Alpha

I Forgot I Loved You, Alpha(I Forgot I Loved You, My Alpha)

“I can’t even brush my teeth anymore without feeling like I’m going to hurl in the sink.” “Brushing your teeth makes you nauseous?” she asked, startled. “Yes. I’ve even switched to a milder-tasting toothpaste, and it’s not making a difference.” “Man, that sucks,” Rae said earnestly. “Any other new symptoms starting to show? Like mood swings or hot flashes or whatever?” “I think hot flashes are from menopause.” “Whatever, I don’t know,” Rae said, making a face. I laughed, which caused her to start laughing, and it lightened the mood significantly. I was so grateful to her—for giving me an opportunity to feel normal and have a little fun in light of all the crazy things that were happening.

The Governor's Wife

The Governor's Wife

Mine had already drained away, replaced by something colder, heavier—worry. My thoughts spun as I stared out the window. I couldn’t keep clashing with him like this. That ridiculous book, The Perfect Wife, flashed through my mind—its chapters on handling dominant men. Softness. Vulnerability. Subtle rebellion. A woman with fire, but without the flames. Sweet enough to draw in. Dangerous enough to chase.

Beauty and Her Beast

Beauty and Her Beast

The assistants’ words make me smile as she states the obvious, but her friendliness and eagerness to help, endear her to me very quickly so I laugh it off. “This book is the best seller and has many recommendations from renowned doctors. It was written by a lady who has worked as a midwife for more than thirty years.” She says handing me a thick book. I have a look through briefly and I’m surprised by how thorough it is. Looking at the chapter list it starts from explaining the biological changes that happen at conception all the way to what to expect week on week up to delivery and up to a year after birth. “I’m impressed, I will definitely take this one, thank you.

Lycan King's Omega Erasthai

Lycan King's Omega Erasthai

I had seen the females having morning sickness, cramps, and swelling, and in my case, it was entirely opposite. I was feeling sexually active like I was ovulating, releasing the heat once or twice the day. Height of absurdity! This was so embarrassing that I couldn’t share it with Moira and sought books on this topic. And all praise to my luck, the first book in the pregnancy section was about the famous Kama Sutra. Not a simple one, but ‘365 positions for 365 days of the year!’ Really? What kind of fucking joke was that? It was like giving tons of drugs to an addict! And that fucking addict left all her work and sat down to read that masterpiece, enjoying this free education.

SPEAKING OF SEX & LUST

SPEAKING OF SEX & LUST

There was no doubt… He’d be consulting it frequently and he wasn’t even halfway through. Heath squinted down at the page with tired, gritty eyes. Dr. Newman’s book was good and intimidating. Just reading the slow and steady steps the doctor suggested… Pressure had built behind his eyes and tightened every muscle in his body. This wasn’t going to be as simple as he’d first thought. Yes, he’d known they’d need to take special precautions to ensure Rowena’s comfort. But nothing like the methodical steps suggested in the book. He’d never thought about sex in such a clinical fashion.

The New Age King // Book 2

The New Age King // Book 2

SARA POV (YEAR 2077, 56 YRS LATER) "Now he is a fine chunk of meat. I can see why all the girls want him," the older waitress says as she appears next to me. I quickly close my worn book. My cheeks tint a little, and I give her a small smile. "I still can't believe they are real even though my friend's granddaughter is mated to one of them," she says while refilling my mug with fresh coffee.

Great quicker read overall. There were unexpected plot twists and well developed banter throughout. The author brings life to different attitudes that aren’t commonly written into novels, which I loved. My only note is that I WISH the author would write more about the lives of Sara & Tab’s pups!

Mrs Johnson asserted to the shock of Cassandra who couldn't believe what her mum was suggesting. "Eww mum!, no way! He is for work and not anything else mother, please don't suggest something like this, you know how I am with men" she responded knowing that her heart beats differently with Dennis. Her mother didn't look pleased at all, "You are not getting very young Cassandra, in the next five years, you will click forty and very soon, you will hit menopause. Wild Dreams [Story Collection]

Wild Dreams [Story Collection]

“You’re being paranoid. Or maybe you’re just not attracted to me anymore. Which is it?” I opened my mouth, but how could I explain it? The sensation wasn’t fear exactly. It was warmer. Deeper. Like invisible fingers trailing down my spine, teasing the sensitive spot just above my ass. My clit gave a faint, traitorous throb. I pressed my thighs together, mortified. “Stan, please. I’m not crazy. It’s this new book I got today. Something about it—”

Menopause Got Me Fired From My Son's Company

Menopause Got Me Fired From My Son's Company

What if you end up dying on the job? She looked me up and down before resting her gaze on my abdomen. "Besides, at your age, you've already gone through menopause, right?" That made me scoff. It was my first time hearing that being menopausal was a cause for termination. "Does a designer use her brains or her womb to do the work? Is this your so-called optimization standard?" I turned to the side and pointed at someone on the other side of the glass door. Sasha Johnson was sitting at her desk with her legs crossed, stuffing popcorn into her mouth. She had earphones on as she binge-watched a TV show on her phone, her body shaking as she giggled.
