He prepared to shift into wolf form but stopped when Diana spoke. “The waitress will be the one that starts it all.” Diana's eyes glowed brighter. “She will be the first mother of fighters—supernatural warriors that will have more power than the world has ever known. Kings. Men that are immune to silver, spells, and even decapitation. Almost immortal. Very terrifying.” He stepped closer. “The first mother of fighters?” “Yes.” Her eyes dimmed. The temperature in the room warmed to normal. “The prophecy was seen over twenty years ago. During the War, we witches tried to find the pack that would be the fathers of these fighters. But many covens died trying.”

The remaining Eastern soldiers in the courtyard took one look at her glowing, unblemished skin and the ancient authority radiating from her aura, and their coordination completely fractured. "The Matriarch," an older Eastern warrior whispered, dropping his curved falchion onto the flagstones as his inner wolf took control of his muscles, forcing his knees to buckle. "The prophecy... the First Blood has crossed the sea." "Pick up your steel, coward!" a high lord shouted from the palace terrace above, his voice shaking with a mix of fury and raw panic.

I said. Valentin grimaced again. “That’s not my story to tell. Switch to hip stretched,” he said. I followed his direction and scowled at the same time. “You can speak to your mother about this.” “She won’t tell me,” I bit out. “For a reason,” Valentin said. “There was a prophecy, foretold that eighteen years after the capture of the empire, the Dawn of the wolves would emerge, ushering forth a prosperous period of new wolves.”

he explained, his eyes having a far-off look to them. “Well, the Bloodmoon Alpha himself isn’t coming, but he is sending warriors to help us in this war.” I explained. “Yes. The war. All will reveal itself with time.” He let my hair drop and brought his gaze back to mine.

other and I will lead us to victory.' Lucas watched in stunned silence as she stripped him of all his power, taking his role of Alpha becoming the Leader he was meant to be. He could only watch as the massed ranks of Immortal Warriors knelt on one knee bowed their heads and swore allegiance to her then they gave out a roar as the brilliant silver light disappeared. Standing on top of the hill bathed in the light of the Moon were three huge glorious Silver Wolves, in unison they tipped up their heads and howled the sound echoing around the canyon hauntingly. The Creator stepped back his eyes dark and full of worry, 'No, no, no, th

This is where our Pride began. He took a long drink of water, looked around at his audience and went on, "This was the last time a werecat was able to shift into a black panther. It was written that there would not be another until the time was upon the world of the werecat to need a savior. It was not foretold what the danger would be, only that it would come from the north and it would be swift. The prophecy spoke of a girl child born from the royal line in which our family hails. She wolud be born with jet black hair and cobalt blue eyes with powers and abilities rivaled by no one." He turned to me at this point. "We think, young Katalea, that you are that werecat."

He sneered as he looked at the warriors and me. "She would go to jail and nothing would happen. We would go to the war with other warriors of the werewolf kingdom and come back victorious. And besides, I have my brother Ken, who is also a warrior and a leader just like her as you said, and I believe he is going to win with his hundreds of thousands of warriors and not just a handful of a few hundred warriors like the Reapers." He sneered mockingly.
