Chris and his team of elites changed into their alter ego uniforms and marched through the basement into the combat aircraft that was used solely for purposes of the Night Empire business. The aircraft travelled its usual course underground till it reached the ocean and then converted to a submarine to travel the rest before emerging in the middle of the ocean, converting into a super speciality aircraft as it rose in altitude.

I'm sorry son, I should have waited till morning before telling you this, I shouldn't have said it now,” mom apologizes because she actually thinks I'm afraid of the news she brought me as it is already night and I'll be getting some sleep soon, but that's not the reason I'm quiet. I'm quiet because I actually feel guilty about all of this, I feel like I would have been able to do something.

Kyle walked towards her and hugged her and she answered him with a nod. She left before they could ask more. The club was in the heart of the city, discreet and draped in luxury. Janine felt small stepping inside. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling. Velvet drapes covered the walls. It smelled like expensive perfume and danger. Tina greeted her with a tight hug and pulled her into the dressing room. “You can back out now. It’s not too late.” Janine shook her head. “I’m doing this. I need this”

The Night-Blooming Garden was the most beautiful and popular place in the Cloud City. More than a garden, it would be more appropriate to describe it as a forest, but as it was located in the heart of the city and a long road crossed it, many would go there, especially at night, when the most beautiful flowers would open with the beginning of each season.
