This campus library is close to the medical faculty, therefore more students from that faculty come here than from other faculties. Not long ago" my bunky has not resumed school?? I asked after noticing my corner was empty except for the mattress on the bunks. Every corner is in black except the bed sheets and it makes the atmosphere appear gloomy and moody in an Emerson Ford style. There are shelves of books on one side and a desk next to the shelves. A smile climbs on my face as I look back to Emerson before looking back at the shelves – Ford never strikes me as a guy who enjoys reading and it comes as a surprise that he has books with him. I gnaw on my lips as I move from the bed and take quiet steps to the other side. I pick up a book and my eyes widen barely at the cover and the label. Looking through the shelves, the rest are novels too— both old and new. Who could have thought Emerson Ford read novels? Romance ones to be exact.

I had a corner I'd claimed without declaring it — the window seat at the far end, where afternoon light came in at an angle that was perfect for reading and the view outside was just garden and sky, no walls visible from that position if you sat exactly right. I liked that. The illusion of boundlessness, even a small one. I was deep in a novel — a nineteenth century one, naturally, a woman navigating a world that had been entirely arranged without her input — when I heard the door. I didn't look up immediately. Mara sometimes checked on me, and I'd learned her footsteps. These were different. Heavier. More deliberate. I looked up.

All my men kept saying she was the wettest woman they've ever touched. Zack no longer could contain his fury and hatred upon hearing that. He rushed toward the man. "The boss thought you might want something to read while you wait." I walked back to the bedroom on legs that felt like they belonged to someone else. The book was waiting for me on the nightstand, a novel I had never heard of with a cover that showed a woman standing at the edge of a cliff, looking out at a stormy sea. I picked it up and settled into the chair by the window, the silk of my dress rustling against the upholstery.

Fuentes furthermore stood up from her seat and observed the young girls at the counter. Her grin couldn't be taken away particularly because she could sense the smell of abundance upon the customers at the counter. "Where can I find the novel compartment? I was looking for the taste series since I couldn't find anything online. It's so popular these days." Antoinette Vera implored. "It's at the right corner of this shelf." Astrid replied, she was observing them the moment they arrived at the scene. Renesmee on the other hand seems thrilled upon hearing that strangers are targeting the popular series she's been yearning for.

While the boys had gone out to investigate the issue at hand, I had locked myself up in my room with a novel I got from the library. It had been so long since I read a fiction book, and I needed to know the latest romance that these writers were able to come up with. I turned to chapter 42 of Alpha Killian by Jane Doe, where Claire was kidnapped when I heard a knock on the door.

I could fetch some and read to kill time. I set it back and strolled to another corner. The aura of the place was cool and a bit dark. One I found soothing. A book caught my eye and I instantly grabbed it. A paper fell from it. Just as I bent to pick it up, my eyes caught sight of an old box lying around in a corner. I placed the paper back in the text and reached for the box instead.

ELVIS POV “Flashback to the past" Curled into one of the plush armchairs tucked away in the farthest corner of the library, I tapped one foot against the tiled floor. The other idly nudged at the edge of my shoe. A fiction novel sat open across my lap, wedged between the stiff, unread pages of a schoolbook. I hadn’t been here in a while. The library was nearly deserted, and in my corner, I was completely alone.
