The wind whispered soothingly, and here I pray it takes my worries away with it. Soon enough, my eyes met with the familiar wooden platform and the long horizon of the sea. The moon gleams above it and is reflected in the waters, seemingly like the moon has gained its twin. Different kinds of ships were anchored. Some were fisherman's boats scattered on the harbor. Trading galleys, carracks and skiffs, great cogs, and longships: all lined up on the harbor made me realize what kind of busy street the pier must be in daylight. Some of the ships have crews aboard, probably doing their duty. Fishermen have returned back from the sea with their crates of fresh catch to be sold this morning.

It's dark, but the ocean is stunning because of the large full moon, which makes the ocean sparkle. It's insanely beautiful how the dark ocean shines so brightly.

A pang of pain and jealousy stabbed through my heart, but I pushed it down as per usual. After our plates were cleared, another course was brought in and it smelled and tasted just as delicious as the first. This course was trays of oysters, lobster and small pieces of fish. The seafood spread was incredible. The conversation throughout dinner flowed nicely and we all got to know each other a lot more. Astéri and her daughters were very interested in learning more about Luna Eclipse. Unsurprisingly. An all-female pack would get any she-wolfs interest turning. Although Elaine told them enough to sate their curiosity, it didn’t escape my notice that she withheld a lot of information.

~STORM As I sit here under the soft glow of the moon, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. The moon goddess has truly blessed me in ways I never thought possible. I look around at my beautiful family, and my heart swells with joy. My twins, Selene and Kingdom, are the light of my life.
