The Omega's Second Chance Mate Novels & Stories

I said. "Yet, you are mated to Calixto, defying the law of Omega's having to pick their own fated companion," he cupped my cheeks teasingly. "do you know how mate bond works in the werewolf world?" I nodded with a scowl on my face. I wasn't dumb, and just because I was an Omega didn't mean I didn't know anything about mate bonds. "I do." "Then you should know about a second chance mate." "But I don't think you're my second chance mate."

He patiently explained the foreign terminology before I could even ask. "It's very hard for a wolf to fall in love if they have lost their mate, unless that person is their second chance mate. However, having a second chance mate is very rare so when you have one, it’s regarded as a blessing and a half. You count yourself as above lucky," Devon smiled at me with such happiness that my heart weighed with the guilt of probably robbing him of what I knew would give him a lot of happiness.

I was so lost in thought that I bumped into one of the omegas. “I’m so sorry. I wasn’t paying attention.” I exclaimed, steadying her. “My lady, do not be bothered, you have a second chance.” She said out of no where catching me by surprise. Knowing she was okay, I just gave her a small smile and continued my walk back to my room. Getting a second chance mate was impossible, why did she say that knowing this though?

Adiens P.O.V. My wolf is snarling at me to claim our mate as we watch her getting punished. But he, as well as my second chance mate, needs to understand that I have absolutely no plans on claiming her. This is why I kept rutting myself in and out of Nikita's mouth as my mate watched. I was aware of her coming down the hallway before I even laid eyes on her. My wolf smelled her before she pushed that door open, and he drooled when the warm scent of sunflowers and peaches hit our noses.

'I hope Alpha Sae will go home as early as possible,' she thought to herself. Alpha Sae was walking downstairs to go to the meeting room where all Alpha's are present. They held a meeting after hearing the news that Alpha Sae was accepting an Omega to become his mate even though he hadn't marked her yet, for them it was a threat. An omega should always stay as an Omega and she is not qualified to become a Luna. The only female wolf that is eligible for the position of a Luna is the daughter of a Beta.

Instead, he has claimed someone else as his new mate, and yes, he can do that because he is an Alpha! But what about me? I’m an Omega! The only way for me to feel the mate bond again is to find myself a second chance mate, which doesn’t always happen. Sometimes, you have to personally ask the moon goddess for a second chance mate at her temple, and that’s miles away. Ashton would never let me go there! “Well...err...” Seth awkwardly clears his throat. It’s clear that he finds this conversation uncomfortable. “We better get going. You have a car, yes?”

Matt groaned. Ro laughed softly before wincing as sharp pains coursed through her body. "Try not to laugh too much, you're still very weak," the woman whom Ro presumed was the twins' mother chastised. Ro nodded and muttered a thank you. The woman then left to go make the weak omega some food as the boys kept her company. "Yeah, I'm an omega and my mate is a guard," she replied to a question one of the boys had asked. "I thought your mate was Al–" Matt smacked Mark's head upside down, stopping him from completing the sentence.

The one who stood up to Derek. Back then, it was hard to see him clearly in the dim light, but now, there was no mistaking those eyes. He looked really good, tall and strong, with wide shoulders that filled the doorway. His jawline was sharp, and his eyes were a piercing blue. He looked much better than Derek ever did. As he stepped closer, a familiar scent filled my senses. He is my second chance mate. I could feel my wolf limb with joy. It had not even been up to 48 hours since Derek had rejected me as his mate, but here was I, already with another mate, and an Alpha at that. I couldn't believe my luck.

Despite her aching bones, she leaned on Clara and Mina as they helped her out of the room. She didn’t need to go down. Standing at the railing was her mother, and by her side stood him. Their eyes met. It was instant. The connection clicked. Their wolves purred, and the bond snapped into place. And like a cruel joke, the moon had passed its sentence. Mate. Yella and the Marvin breeding omega son of Alpha Morgan. The words whispered loud enough, and their parents went cold. “No…” Minister Caswell cried. “Yes,” Mrs. Caswell breathed with relief. And her gaze snapped to her husband with pride. “This is only the beginning.”

She was doing so much better than she anticipated. I watched my pack, each and everyone one of them, as we stepped into the meeting ground. It was so packed, I could barely see space in the room. I puffed my chest out proudly at the sight of how far my pack had come. The older elders were seated closest to the platform. Everyone had eyes on my mate. There were murmurs. “Who’s she?” “She’s an omega?” “She’s the one?” I could feel Olivia tensing up again. I squeezed her hand gently again, she looked at me, “Breathe”, I whispered. She nodded and took a deep breath.
