"Let's start with the library in the main pavilion. Two more teams can come with us. The others should cover meeting rooms and study areas with books." We moved quickly down the heated corridor, noticing the other teams mobilizing with the same urgency. The Ross team split into pairs, fanning out efficiently. The Montgomery team… I couldn't help noticing Vivian assigning tasks to her people with almost military precision. The library occupied an entire wing of the main pavilion, with tall shelves packed with books on viticulture, regional history, and production techniques. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with leather armchairs and reading tables lit by classic lamps.

That was strange and spooky. Who left this note? But something pushed me to that direction as I found my nosy side surfacing. I made my way to the library. It was so huge. I didn't know there was a library here. What else was in this house, a dungeon?. I almost laughed at my stupidity. Why would a CEO have a dungeon? A library, Yes. A dungeon, No. Stupid stupid Victoria. My fingertips swiped the spine of the books lined up neatly. Mr Rossi had a lot of books. Most of these books were classics, I took note of that.

Was it out of the kindness of his heart or was I just another pawn in his game? One evening, as I sat in the library, surrounded by books that I had always dreamed of owning, the door opened, and Don Rossi himself walked in. || Author POV || Rosa tiptoed inside the library. It was already afternoon. She had planned to go to the café, so she got ready but before going, she wanted to check something. Even though she believed Killian, her curiosity refused to rest. The silence inside was comforting yet eerie. Every step echoed faintly beneath her light feet. Reaching the tall shelves, Rosa quietly pulled the wooden chair and climbed onto it. Her eyes scanned the upper row until they landed on the book, Oath of Blood.

Lawrenta tries to cheer me up by noticing my mood, but my thoughts are too disorganized to even respond to her small talk. I decide to busy myself and take my drawing book with me to the mansion's library. The space is quiet and serene, but I can't seem to draw down an idea after almost an hour of staring at the blank page. With a tired sigh,I stand up from the seat and look around the library. Cathy and the Librarian turned to Roxie. They saw that Roxie was holding a book that was black in color. Apart from its black cover, there is nothing else written on it. "Oh, so there it is," the Librarian said, gently taking the book from Roxie. "It's a book about rogue wolves. I've been looking for it for a while," she explained.
