My face heated as understanding dawned. "Jax—"
He chuckled.
The air inside Onyx was thick with smoke, sweat, cheap alcohol, and the sharp, unmistakable tang of arousal. The lights were low and red-tinged, flickering over wooden tables sticky with spilled drinks. Bass throbbed so deep it vibrated in my ribs.
