The Pact Pdf Novels & Stories

King Oliver announced. “Devil Pact?” Lily asked with a raised brow. “Yes. Now, Evander Maclay will tell you about the Devil pact,” King Oliver proclaimed. Beside King’s throne a man was standing who came forward. He was quite old with thick glasses over his eyes. “A Devil pact is an agreement between a human and a Devil in which the two have to keep with the terms. Failed to do so can result in the immediate death of the human if he/she breaks the pact and if the Devil breaks the pact then he/she will be sent to Hell and punished there,” Evander stated.

Guard would never tolerate anyone to take Reader from him. "My place is with you," Reader agreed quietly before darting a glance at Guard, "We remain together on this world? Pact?" Guard stilled at the request. Pacts were sacred vows among the Zen. No one broke a pact without the reason falling to death or disaster. Guard and Reader had made a pact to always choose each other when a choice was to be made for companionship. Reader had thought their pact did not apply when it came time to load Guardian. Guard knew he would not be in the lift moving to consult with Security were Reader not at his side.

"A while ago I signed a deal in blood with Axel and his father. The consequences of breaking it would have been death. Both of them know that. If I manage to convince the former Alpha to come with me when meeting Axel, then we can sign another pact. A pact of truth. If I would do it alone, Axel would still think that you told me lies and I believed them. But if his father, who hates me, comes with me and tells his story too, he won't have a reason to think it's all bullshit." "A pact of truth? Have you gone mad too? Even if, by some miracle, Axel signs it, the former Alpha would rather die. And for a good reason! Those pacts are forbidden! The smallest lie and you die. Did your Alpha actuall

After Rob’s statement and Alpha Amber’s reaction, it was evident that Rob’s fears would come true. “A blood pact is only broken if the signatory goes back on HIS word DELIBERATELY and the laws of the supernatural world will decide the punishment based on the true intentions of the culprit party. Hence, your fears of breaking the pact by mistake stand null and void. If I may add then there will be greater transparency on the part of both the signatories,” I counter pointed as I tried to bring the tide back to our favour. “It is still a NO. We will not sign a peace treaty based on a blood pact but I can sign your paper right here and right now,” the Alpha claimed and tore away the envelop at t

My voice sounded smaller than I meant it to. Dante nodded. He unrolled the leather-bound folio like a priest revealing a sacrament. Ink, old and thick, bloomed across its pages; the letters were a language both of blood and contracts — the language The Veil used when it wanted obedience more than power. “It’s called the Crossroads Pact,” he said. “Found it in a monastery outside Naples. The copy the Thirteen used to bind rivals when they wanted peace. It’s older than Don Moretti’s ledger. It predates our wars and their propaganda.” His eyes were dark in the candlelight. “It’s clean. Immutable. But it demands a price.”

She said, and Alex and I have her a go ahead. “The heart of the tree has been healed completely, but the pact? The pact is a continuous dance, a dance between light and darkness and what we did was to alter the rhythm, nevertheless, the dance still goes on forever.” I nodded my head in comprehension of what she he just said, and then I sighed deeply. Trust me, I was getting all tired of all this rubbish and nonsense that nearly cost me my life. What kind of rubbish was wall these? For crying out loud. This was really so frustrating.

Clara tore it open and brought out the white piece of paper with the name CONTRACT written on it. "This is it. I hope you are ready, Clara, because there is no turning back any time soon." He triggered the warning and Clara stared at the contract before picking up a pen and signing herself away.

"You want to know why I've been careful with Liam? It's not strategy. It's guilt. He's my brother, and my father destroyed him before he could even choose. And I've spent ten years watching him spiral while being unable to stop it." The confession hung between us, heavy with years of accumulated pain. "What does the pact actually require?" I asked. "What payment is owed?" "That's the problem, I don't know. The original document was never written down. Blood pacts work through intention and magic, not contract law. My father knew the terms, but he died before telling me everything." Kharo pulled out the final letter from Lycaon. "This is all I have. 'Payment will be collected.' But I don't kn

Instead of the hollow sound of wood, I hear a soft click. A compartment opens. Inside lies a black notebook. Untitled, unmarked, just the initials V.M. etched in fading ink. Vittorio Moretti. I open it slowly. No dates. No numbers. Just a list of names, some crossed out, some circled. And beside one name, scrawled in darker ink, two words that make my stomach tighten: Blood Pact. I stare at it, my pulse steady but my hands clenched. Blood Pact. The term my father used for alliances sealed by death, promises that only ended when one party was buried.

And it was the only fuel I needed to get back on track. I pulled out the paper and spread it on the table. It was a document with the seal of the pack on the bottom and Syn’s signature, but other than that I didn’t recognize much so I started reading all of it. “It’s a contract.” Preston says as he watches me and reads it along with me. “You recognize it?” “Vaguely. I’ve seen some in records books or history books. Its an old school contract, one that was made for more than trade or land or something. It’s like a blood oath.”
