Till Death Do Us Part

Till Death Do Us Part

I guess humans were also capable of loving beyond limits. “Shall we?” Frank asks, tearing his gaze away from his wife's retreating form. “The drinks are in my office.” Opening my mouth, I prepare to agree but stop as my phone begins to buzz in my pocket. “One moment,” I say apologetically, pulling it out. “I need to take this.” Nodding, Frank motions for me to go, allowing me to sneak outside and swipe the answer button. “What's up, Hans?” I ask the minute I'm out of earshot.

SILVER PACT

Now, it had become a war to define it. Siran stood beside her, her armor newly etched with runes of reflection symbols drawn from the First Tongue. They glowed faintly, responding to her heartbeat. “Reports from the North,” she said quietly. “The Enclave of Glass has fallen into itself. They spoke in unison for three days… then their words turned solid.” Ari turned to her sharply. “Solid?” Siran nodded grimly. “Their prayers crystallized into walls. They’re entombed in language living phrases. The more they tried to speak their way free, the thicker it grew.”

That Glance Was Enough

That Glance Was Enough

In his mind, I had really left him for Anthony. Memories swamped him, washing away his last shred of sense. He stumbled to the fridge and emptied every bottle. Drunk, he called out for me. "Isabella." However, the hand that used to clink glasses with his was gone for good. By sunrise, he was frantically dialing up his old business partners. "I'm sorry. Maybe we can work together some other time. We're getting the same stuff, but another family's giving us a better deal by thirty percent. You get it, right?"

Leaving the Past Behind

Leaving the Past Behind

"Alright, Molly. Just remember—you're not as important as you think. I hope you don't regret this later." Jerry swallowed hard, his voice rough but just shaky enough to notice. Without looking back, he walked out of the shop before I could. I let out a breath, the tightness in my chest finally loosening. I needed to end our mate bond for good tomorrow. … The witch handed me the potion and studied me closely. "Drinking this will sever your mate bond. Are you sure about this?" "I've made up my mind to go through with it. I deserve a fresh start."

Guel said. I frowned. “Huh?” I knew he was talking to me since I was the one close to him. Mr Edward was standing by the door, with his back to us, and enough distance between us that it was almost suspicious. “The glass isn't see-through. It's a one-way glass. Those outside can't see you, but you can see them,” he explained. “I see.” I nodded and would have asked another question when something clicked in my mind. “How did you know?” I narrowed my eyes at him.

Bound by deception

I can't breathe. My eyes rise to his, sifting through, making requests. “This… this says you're dead.”. Ethan doesn't flinch. Doesn't blink. He maintains a steady and serene stare at me. And then, he leans forward. His voice is very gentle and delicate.'". He says, "I should be, Isabella.";". A chill slashes through me. Before I can respond—. BOOM. A gunshot shatters the silence. The windows explode. Glass is a deadly material that falls like sharp diamonds. Why?

Till Death Do Us Part

Till Death Do Us Part

We both knew—once we stepped out, it would be a true farewell. I laid my hand over hers. She couldn't feel it, but I wanted to do it anyway. Jude smiled faintly. "Let's go." She tugged at the necklace around her neck. Dangling from its chain was a tiny glass vial—inside it, the remnants of my ashes. We walked down the beach, one behind the other. A smile lingered on her lips the whole way. I watched my body growing more transparent until we stopped beside a jagged reef.

“Oh, I have more than one. But first, let’s toast , to new alliances… and to Isabella’s end.” The glasses clinked, crystal against crystal, and in that moment, the pact was sealed.

The impact shatters the glass, sending shards flying in all directions. The room falls into stunned silence as I retrieve the divorce papers from the floor, my eyes locked on the lawyer. He swallows hard, unable to meet my gaze. The shattered glass, like my broken marriage, lies in ruins at my feet, a stark and painful reminder of the chaos that has consumed my life. I pivot to face Michael, who stands there with an emotionless mask. With a mixture of anger, frustration, and profound sadness, I take the divorce papers in my left hand and forcefully toss them at him. The papers land on his chest, scattering slightly before falling to the floor.

Nice story so far. Keep it up author but I think author should improve in her tenses and grammar. The story is nice one, I like the way she gave glimpses of what would happen in the story in the future. Nice book and story line author, keep it up. But Michael seemed pompous for my liking.

The story is great, the way you portrayed how your closed one (best friend ) can turn into a foe with time, how in one second everything changes and it hurts when you know you are right but no one trusts you. Well done btw, good luck

Love Contract: Fail before her

Love Contract: Fail before her

She was so excited that she spoke in a jumbled manner at the moment. "Whist!" Carwyn gently put his hand on Grainne's mouth, signaling her not to say anything. The small piece of land in the backyard has never been turned into a glass room, both the ceiling and four walls are high-grade transparent industrial glass, going inside and still seeing clearly outside. Looking up at the night sky seems to be reachable, the effect of glass makes the sky space no longer feel narrow and limited, but spreads out vastly, wide but also so close. Surrounded by two people.
