I just stared at the glass in front of me and whispered to myself: “This is not the end. Not yet.”

“You don’t know what trap he’s setting. Don’t walk into it alone.” “I walked into Vincent’s world alone. I can survive Malachai.” “That’s what scares me,” he muttered. She walked past him, her heels clicking like a countdown. Midnight, House of Glass, Paris The House of Glass was a modern art installation located in the heart of the city, an angular, mirrored building with walls that reflected the night like shards of reality. The entire place shimmered under the moonlight. Grace entered through the side, her footsteps echoing on the pristine floors.

“She might not have the body that you do, but she’s not a slut. She still has track of her body count, unlike you.” “Please leave.” “What the fuck!” I snapped. “You know what? If you don’t want me, I’d get her to leave you,” I sneered. “Look there.” I glanced towards the door. “You see it, huh?” I said, letting a sly grin spread across my face. “Yes, I got all this on recording, and these glasses aren’t ordinary,” I whispered, removing the glasses. “See, it has a camera. It’s a meta glass, sweetheart .”

But as she passed him, she whispered, “Thank you.” He nodded once, then watched her disappear down the hall. Inside the glass room, the final note of her song still hung in the air unfinished, trembling, and utterly human.

It was footage of Chelsea’s ordeal. I picked up the remote and switched to a children’s channel. The rotten flesh from the past had been removed. The wound had scabbed over and grown new flesh. The warm sunlight outside the window fell gently on the cradle. I closed my eyes. Not a trace of gloom remained in my life.

“Zephyr, take a good look. This is your future!” The moment she finished speaking, she let go with a sudden jerk. The casing shattered instantly. One of the shards grazed my cheek, leaving a thin trail of blood. I really could not understand what our family had ever done to her. She was doing everything in her power to destroy me. I braced myself against the cold floor, slowly stood up, and walked toward the door. There was still time. I was going to find a computer and change my college application.

" The gods are all happy and have given you a go head " I am lead to a table , everything here seems so knew to me. . " we all know you don't remember a thing, that is going to end now " one of the guys says. I am given a sliver glass from which i take everything that is in in just one sip. As soon as I put the the sliver glass in the table, it is like something has been removed from my eyes .It is like I have been in the dark for some time...every thing comes back to me at once.
