Aisha sat stiffly across from me, hands clasped tightly in her lap, eyes darting around like a damn rabbit caught in the open. “Relax,” I murmured, taking a slow sip of my drink. “You look like you’re about to bolt.” She swallowed, forcing herself to meet my gaze. “I’m fine.” I hummed. “Good. Because we have things to discuss.” I set my glass down, tilting my head slightly. “It seems Marco is hosting a party. A grand one. A little celebration for his upcoming child with his lovely wife, Sarah.” Aisha flinched at the mention of Sarah.

"What party?" Kay toppled over some books on my desk, I stared at her hoping for an explanation prior to what she just said. "Corby is holding a party. Heard from one of the director of the boards that it's celebrating our collaboration with RR enterprise" I sucked in a breath. How come I didn't know of this. And if there is really going to be a celebration party, Fabrico might be there. That's if he doesn't send Karen to come in-stead of him.

“Shower now! You look awful.” “Does it matter? Why have a party, mum? To celebrate that you’re getting rid of me? You can just send me there with one of the guys. It saves you money.” So why does there need to be a party? “The party is to show both cities the deal was upheld. Some from this city and theirs will be here. All major deals are done in this way with some sort of party to make the cities people aware. So, get showered and ready.”
