He patted his lap for Arya, and then she sat, not bothering to argue, because she knew Juan did not like to be disrespected.
Diego was confused, wondering why he was even in the warehouse. He had stopped all dealings with Juan and with Dominic, so he had no business with them.
“Juan, what is the meaning of all this?” he questioned, struggling against his restraints. “What have I done? Why am I here?”
Juan gave him a small, cold smile, and then he said,
“I am not God, but I would love to answer my angel’s prayers—which is to kill you.”
